The new map is gorgeous, the temples and the small town are very interesting from both an aesthetic and gameplay perspective. A welcome change from the (rather boring) Pacific maps.
The Hyde is… well not bad, but not particularly attractive either. It gets high recoil and dispersion. Imo if an american player wants a weapon dedicated for CQC, they better stick with the M2 Carbine.
The Super Pershing seems great, with really good armor (I bounced several poorly aimed shots from a King Tiger). The gun itself is meh, the reload is really long (around 10s even with the good perk), the APCBC can go through King Tiger’s cheeks but cannot pierce Ho-Ri armor. The HE is ok, but penalized by the reload. Overall a solid addition to the US but definitely not the best tank, still worse than KT.
The Te-4 is nice, very similar to the Vickers MG of the british paratroopers. The recoil is quite high though and the sight might be too big (even though I really like AA sights on MG). Solid MG at BR4.
Chi-Ri has an insane firing rate for a tank, but it’s more similar to the BR5 76 sherman of the US for everything else. Obviously the hull canon will be useless (only AP) and the only machine gun is also in the hull. Probably a useless tank at BR5. Certainly overtierred, like almost any Japanese tank anyway.
The MG42 100 is … an MG42 with 100 rounds. I guess its an improvement and most likely the best german MG in the Tech tree, but nothing too special either. A good addition nonetheless.
No Churchill tracks fix? SAS Normandy customization changes, oh dear, but still looking forwards to update

After a nerf they may not be that bad anymore to play with new AT gunner.
Chiri definitely doesn’t feel overtiered. It will be brutal against infantry, the reload speed is just insane.
And it can easily penetrate any American tank with exception for super Pershing, then you need to aim for weak spot.
But for AT purposes Japanese already have Ho-Ri.
