Testing the "Tigers of Burma” update

There is no weight limit in Enlisted, so there will be no problem using the MG42 as if it were an STG44

sure just make the 250 round stinger tech tree

Only if they do it with the Cönders MG with a Rate of Fire of 2200-2400 and a 250-round Belt😉

I think its my fault

Ive noted that a 73 round drum exists for PPsh series and could be a good difference for the upcoming Ppsh-45 in next battle pass, simply for variety’s sake if nothing else:

Haha no you’re not. Go try picking up and MG42 and 250 rounds of 7.92, then see if you can even fire it from the shoulder, let alone even stand up straight with it.

If you want it to be real, you’d stick with the 50 round assault drum, since that’s what soldiers actually used when firing 42s in an offensive role and on the move, since they were lightweight and quicker to reload.

Not to mention that the 42 is meant to be fired in short bursts, not just spraying. Its cyclic rate is so fast that consistent firing will destroy the barrel.

So no, what you’re asking for isn’t real, no German soldier ran around with a 250 round MG42 like it’s an assault rifle. What you’re asking for is stupid, unnecessary, and unrealistic.

In the game you can carry more and in real life they operated with 100-150-200-250 child tape

That is not implemented in Enlisted

You’re going in a different direction.

I’m pointing out the hypocrisy of you saying “I want the MG42 in its real configuration” when that is NOT its real configuration. Sure, 50 round belts were combined to form 250… for STATIONARY machine gun positions.

I’m simply responding to the statement you made.

In one part of the comment I also mention how the MG42 was operated

Only in vehicles and MG positions, but adding that overheating is an exaggeration when it should happen after firing 250-300 continuous bullets.Which in Enlisted is much less what you need for it to overheat

But well, let’s leave realistic logic in this game, since with the Allies and Soviets it can’t be As

I’m sorry why are the Allies getting the Ofenrohr? An Axis made weapon, not produced by the Allied nations. I’m sure the are multiple instances of nations picking up enemy weapons and using them but they still do not belong to the nation that just happens to find them.

Are you just going to give the FG 42 II to the Allies as well? maybe give the StG 44 to the soviets or give the Axis the Thompson 100.

Just a reminder to keep the thread on-topic and related to the testing of the new update.

If you want to discuss other things, take it to the Mess Room.

Respectfully, this would not have happened if they had given us the MG42 as it should be, where they only “gave us something” because we did not receive anything new. For BR V, with this update there are 5 where the last one was the incorporation of the Tiger 2H from last year,Added to that is the fact that the Allies receive a GERMAN AT Weapon in their TT unfairly. But oh well,

We just have to wait and see if the MG42 is fixed in the next small update (I hope so) or in the next major update with Tier V weapons for Germany. It really feels bad not to have received anything in 5 Major Weapon Updates for BR V Unlike the other Factions
