Testing the "Scorching Rays" update

Well only for Japan I can think mortars for every BR without a problem:

BR II Type 99 81 mm mortar

Two types of ammunition, smoke or chemical, and high-explosive are known. Likewise, there are two weights of shells-7.2 pounds and 14.3 pounds. [6]

There is also a green signal flare fired from the Type 99 81-mm mortar, as well as a parachute smoke signal.[6] The 81mm mortar was also used to launch an unusual AA Mine Discharger shell.

The following results were achieved in a firing test that employed both Japanese ammunition and U. S. M43A

BR III Type 11 70 mm Mortar:

BR IV Type 97 81 mm infantry mortar:

Ammunition recovered for the Type 97 thus far is usually the Type 00 (1940) HE shell. This shell is 12.87 inches (32.7 cm) long and weighs 6.93 pounds (3.14 kg), 1 pound (450 g) of which is the weight of the TNT filler. The fuze is of the instantaneous type, which can be set for delay action, however, by the insertion of a delay pellet in the fuze nose prior to firing. The shell could be fired in the US 81-mm mortar M1, but the range was about 10 per cent shorter than achieved with the US M43 and M43A shells.

The 81mm mortar was also used to launch an unusual AA Mine Discharger shell.

And BR V: Type 93 150 mm infantry mortar

BR VI: Type 4 20 cm rocket launcher

BR VIII: Type 98 320 mm mortar

When it comes to mortars Japan have a lot of options xD

I disagree giving an automatic grenade launcher to the Soviet Mortar squad. How about shelf this for now and maybe when you finally make a Grenadier squad and class give it to them

I’ve been saying forever the Mortar squad’s unique building should be the Heavy 100mm Mortars

@Euthymia07-live Maybe Move the Ki -83 to a fighter squad and leave it at BR IV since I dont see how this thing gonna be ground attacker. Its a nice plane but its not ground attacker. Since if it needs to be ground attacker needs to be BR III but there will just delete some planes so I really dont know how you gonna balance this plane here I make quick guide on planes and good ground attacker options for Japan:

you can pick something from this planes will be nice ground attackers or just move the Kikka to ground attacker role. If Ki -83 is a fighter plane its easier to judge but as a ground attacker its very hard to place it on BR IV. If its a fighter Ki-83 can be a good BR IV fighter plane.

Well sadly but they can put the Kikka to ground attacker and make a new ground attacker for BR III. But we are in the circle do to bad pick for a ground attacker :smiley:

Japanese faction just need a big rework I really wish the Ki-83 was the solution sadly I have big doubts about it it will end as a useless BR IV ground attacker that actually its a fighter. But who knows maybe they added to BR III ground attacker but then all the allies will complain about its anti aircraft capabilities and they are in way right to do so cuz it really have some good boom and zoom capabilities comparable to the Mosquito.

It was no longer available for this squad. That’s why it has been removed from my soldiers on test server.

Same happened with pps 43 premium squad. They made the long grey coat and long brown coat unavailable for the hero soldier causing me to lose the clothes i had bought

No one talking about graphics performance, does anyone know if textures still disappear with DirectX 12? Why is there no point in upgrading to ray tracing with DirectX 12 if you are then forced to use 11 because they are (beta) thanks.

Unfortunately I won’t be home today before the test server ends. So there’s no way for me to check it.

But I’d still have a problem with it though. Because I bought green uniforms specifically for Moscow and for this squad, where the default volkssturm uniform is out of place.

On the other hand, Berlin is the only campaign where the VS uniform is appropriate. And therefore I wouldn’t want to replace it with the green torso. So they would be completely useless for me.

Hey Euthy, would you mind checking this, I compiled some of these German cosmetics suggestions from me and couple of other people.

The new uniforms and couple of headgears for Germany are looking too polished for someone that fought for six years or less, it looks like they’ve never used it on the battlefield. Would love if they made it worn out dirty like before.

The paratroopers should have proper trouser color since we already have that presented in-game.

We should be able to add or remove, or even to change each of these collars to any collar patch from these three we have.

Same goes to these uniforms, we should be able to change the collar anyway we want.

This camouflage pattern hasn’t returned.

Wouldnt it be better to have two versions of it instead of making everything dirty? I want clean uniforms as well
