I’ve mentioned this in a few posts, and I always emphasize it whenever I can: we should at least choose the campaigns we actually want to play.
I have nothing against REAL Japan, but in this game, that nation is incredibly boring.
It’s a massacre playing against them. I rarely win a match against these addicted players with weapons that are far superior to my American weapons.
When I see the Japanese map loading, I instantly get anxious because I know we’ll be raped in broad daylight…
And the worst part? Right now, I need the XP and victory points, so I can’t afford to abandon matches.
Dude, how difficult is it to separate campaigns?
Are we seriously forced to enter maps that we’ve MARKED TO DISLIKE?
This system seems useless, or even false advertising. How the hell do I mark a map to avoid a certain map being dropped, and then it’s come right away?
I can’t wait for my points to run out and I won’t need XP anymore, because I’m going to abandon every possible match against this damned nation in this game!
Honestly weapon balance between them is a mess, depending on the BR, one side or the other has an insane balance issue.
Like BR2-3 is a nightmare for the Japanese, fighting the endless sherman hordes actually is soul crushing, really doesnt help half your team goes afk, (thanks deserter penalty).
BR1 ofc for the US is a nightmare in turn, I mean there is literally nothing you can do vs the Type 100 spam by clan sweats who want to bump up their K/D on new players.
Japan recently got an upgrade. That’s why the online has shifted to its side and it’s harder to join the fight for America not against Japan, and since all the Americans are busy, the Western Front is closed for Germany.
I don’t like this situation because it’s simply impossible to play for America anywhere except on the disgusting Pacific Ocean maps. There are exactly two playable maps for the entire Pacific. There is also a very good Burma, but it’s quite rare. At higher BRs, this situation is aggravated by the fact that Japan simply doesn’t have real weapons. They fight with some idiotic dieselpunk bullshit. Like something from Red Alert or The Man in the High Castle. I’m not against these universes and games based on them, but I came to Enlisted to play a game about World War II, not this crap.
It doesnt bother me at all, its so rare to see a competent P-38G pilot anyway, still a BR3 plane though imo.
The worse part is the M1A1 spam or at least the lanchesters, the lanchester 50 I see so often for some reason and its so baddd. Which tbf I make worse for myself, I dont use many SMGs for my BR2 Japan lineup, mostly BA’s and a few SA.
Yeah that is dire, but honestly all the shermans are a scurge on it, the 47mm AT gun cant do anything to them, they need more intermediate AT guns, for all nations except the US imo.
As for the rest, well I dont play BR5 for many reasons at this point so I cant complain about them too much.
When playing allies, I mostly only use Commonwealth forces (force of habit) so I haven’t tried the tommy in br2 yet since the br change. But I remember it was a really decent smg… I’m sad they lower all factions smgs in br.
Instead of lowering everything to match pps and uragan they should have made pps and uragan match other factions, but I digress.
You’re right about p38 pilots though. There’s not many hood ones sadly, the decent ones hop into the mustangs.
As for br5… it’s relatively even, surprisingly. Only thanks to the strange sf rifle Japan got… they have no bombers though.
There’s a BR II P38, yes I was shocked too when I first learnt it, I guess it was more than me that memoryholed BR II attackers with several rockets (Soviets got them too).
Anyway, P38 is a free meal as long as you’re not in a head-on engagement (they’ll shred you if so), so I don’t mind it either.
Well, you can always do what I used to do before the Dev’s eliminated the Allies/Japanese soft rule and I always tried to play my level three Allies and if I didn’t get the Germans, I ALWAYS got level five Japs. So, I got to the point that if I loaded the game and got Japs, instant desertion. There wasn’t any point in going further, and this was my way of protesting against the soft rule.
However, in this circumstance, it’s not quite the same, no soft rule, just being outclassed with weapons. Not much you can do about that except play another faction instead of lower level Allies.
I only have two as well, but there are people with more out there, and they lose to cycle to the squads with it. Its not fun face while using a type 99 rifle.
Kikka is better than me262, MG100 is 2nd best MG in a TT. Ho-ri is always there. Type 96 LMG is amazing at BR3 it’s AR in form of MG. BR1-3 smgs are top tier. Type 97 at rifle is op at BR1-2. Type 4, Hino rifle and now hand mortar can keep you occupied. What about some explosive tanks? Chi-ha short is ready.
