I dont understand the monitor your rally point part? Set it and forget it.
I put 6 AP mines after setting up mine, if I see it in the kill feed , then I worry about going back to it. But your rally should always be in a place where its either hard or time consuming to get to. And beyond that , the mines will usually stop the first attempt on it.
I’ve never had to watch over a rally point once placed.
Maybe I am missing what you are saying or what you mean by monitor.
I never reach enemy rallypoint to destroy it… I destroy it remotely… Some bullet, explosive will do it.
Also a good rallypoint is:
not far from sector (50~70m), not too visible from enemy (So not use sandbag!), not too close to main spawnpoint (enemy will arty/bomb map spawnpoint), not in a popular area.
Also have you meet elite enemies? They will always notice where you are come from, if you are from something weird, they will go there and check if there’s rallypoint.
My rallypoint always get destroyed randomly by some elite enemies. So I have to check if its there.
Because you play less than me…
3~4 hours a day of this game, just to do all the BP tasks is making me mad.
I am now playing more and more of my Steam games.
Also I usually only post “trash team” if the team is really trash–no one else try to build rallypoint for a long time.
Rallypoint is the stuff that “NIMBY”, everyone use it like it, but everyone dont want to waste time to build it.
Also my AA, I build it in case enemy attack from the right. Someone used all of its ammo before I have a chance to use it.
And I will be even mad if I waste my time but team is not helping me-- that match there’s few players mark the tank. Enemy tank literally hit me from the rear. Isnt that enough annoying?
If you can destroy it remotely with a bullet or explosives than the engineer is doing his job wrong.
Sometimes you have to sacrifice distance to add protection to it. Otherwise if you take yourself out of the game because you have to babysit it, then you are effectively giving them your squad for free.
I’m.just shy of 2k games and I have come up against elite teams, squads, and even a friend twice in battle (and he is better than me by far).
To be a good engineer you need to read the battlefield and figure out where to place and then you set the trap.
Also, make decoys.
You know how many sand bags I randomly place and mine on a map? Its like a moth to flames as troopers race to, or drop and waste arty on some random sandbags. I reduce their combat effectiveness through deception as well.
Try it sometime. Set some sandbags and lay some mines. Or sandbag a random house windows and lay mines in the doorways.
It literally works 90% of the time.
This game can be run and gun, but you’d be shocked at how many times I’ve baited artillery that should have been used elsewhere or ambushed multiple squads going to a house that had nothing inside it.
Man just chill, don’t be tied up by game. Game are suppose to bring fun to you. Moreover if you have 9 task a day you must have complete the battle pass already, so why you force yourself to get those extra and repetitive sliver orders and xp booster?
I managed to complete all 9 tasks in 3 matches two days ago.
Wasn’t easy, and i was lucky with tasks. I usually skip “capture 1 point” to avoid deserting matches.
The main one is easy, i rolled complete 1 battle in some campaign, lucked out subamiche gun kills.
Last game was a challange, with 15 melee and 20 flamethrower kills, still did good in game as normandy balance sucks.
Even with bad luck, prioritize skipping cap 1 point or desert games where it can’t be done, all task can be done in 7 games tops.
It usually take me around 2h if i’m not speedrunning them and just enjoying games, doing main task and sometimes focusing the side ones if i can.
don’t exaggerate either, or that to set up a meeting point it will take you 1 whole minute, at most it takes 20 seconds while you look for a good place to build it but from there nothing else, besides in my games I’m almost always the only one who builds rally points, and in spite of that I have not had problems to arrive at the first place.
There’s nothing, NOTHING justifying insults and flaming your own team. Like @252703 said, it’s a game and some ppl just want to relax and enjoy their time. You can always leave and find another match if the one you are in is unsatisfying…
So take the squad with engis but one of the grinding ones.
No sane person would ever play it without engies, and zero rallys is a HUGE reason to be flamed
How sweaty this match was like on what cap did it reach? Depending on the map, only one rally point may cut it but the more the merrier.
Regarding trash teams, War Thunder started this habit that I get to yell at the team for being trash at times because losing match after match on that game especially when its not my fault on losing is frustrating. In Enlisted’s case, for the most extremely trash teams, I would rather just desert and let them enjoy their loss themselves as I don’t have to play nice to such shitters in the team.
Atleast in single player games, I know its my own skill issue when losing a fight unlike multiplayer especially military shooters with no matter what I do, the team still loses due to shit team.
