Team Killing in Squads Mode

It is understandable that you’d get kicked for team killing in HC, but team killing is also pretty prevalent in squads, mostly from artillery and air bombings. I feel that when a player team kills 5+ teammates in squads mode, they should get kicked. Since you know since mass teamkilling is still a very big issue in squads. Just a suggestion.

squad mode should never have this since you can direct your squad into friendly arty fire and force kick someone.

Yes if that gets implement i just wait for someone Spam Artillery and just walk into it = Player i hate gets kicked

I think kicking someone should be the very last resort.
Warn, then let him pay with spawn time increase, or ask the killed person whether the “bad guy” is to be penalized but not kick by default.

If a pilot asks for enemy coordinates and I give it to him but game engine screws it up and in front of me top of a tree is marked with two squads below it, instead of the two tanks I originally wished to mark… You see how that will end.

If wait for some twat Flamethrower teammate uses the Flamethrower light the house on fire, i walk into Fire = he get kicked

I also agree that teamkillers should be also kicked in squad mode. No excuse for such behavior. You can’t stop doing something right simply because it could be abused.

by abuse you mean parking your tank at friendly arty strike and jump out of it to get killed?

Even me I can think of more than 3 ways to deliberately get teamkilled but I more usually see people getting teamkilled by accident.
It’s just like, you can’t stop punishing murderer simply because of there are people like to commit suicide. Sounds reasonable?
And also, if one player cannot even report a game abuser and get him punished, why should we still play this game?

Your definition of right and wrong, is not mine
Welcome to real world with many shades of grey.
It is not always black and white.

It is a game, bro. You want real world then please drop the keyboard and mouse and grab a real gun.
In game, please make it binary. It is easier for players. I thought I was dumb enough to figure out overlapsed and conflicted rules.

Aaaaan hit. ^^

So in you 01 botworld, if and enemy tank that evaded 6 explosive packs already and killed 40 team members pisses me off so much that I take my detpack, stand on top of the tank sacrifying myself for the greater good, and by chance next to me a teammate just in the wrong moment steps out from a building next to us in an effort to kill the same tank, and we both detonate right in the moment when also a bomb from our plane lands on top of the same tank…

That means all three team members are happy for the end result, but depending on the order of blasts either one or two players are kicked instead of celebration?

If I get teamkilled, at least give me an option to say whether I wish revenge or not. It’s very hard to algorithmically determine, and devs have more than a handful of other things to work on right now, I guess.

Also why punish the VICTIM automatically by replacing a real player with a dumb bot squad instead of giving options?

You already can “Complain” in the scoreboard selecting the person.

You are trying to support your opinion with a minor rare case. You name it, how often friendly artillery barrage and flamethrower could teamkill a whole fvcking squad, and how frequently does that compare with your case? If you were trying to emphasize a victory with sacrifice, then please accept the cost of being punished for teamkilling, because it is fair!
And you suggest adding an option to revenge or votekick, I totally agree, and I would be darn happy if they really bring it to game.

I’m saying that a dumbed down teamkill-will-kick rule is bad for mental health (yours included) compared to an ask-to-kick-if-teamkilled rule.
And also I say that kicking someone to be replaced by a bot is just as bad for the team sometimes, instead spawn penalties could be applied. Others will be able to respawn faster while the teamkiller has another 20 seconds to think about that last case if the teamkill was considered a bad deed by the victim.

Fuck off with these dumbass suggestions

So… I think my opinion is just supported by some evidence:

I was talking about Lone Fighter in my own post fyi and specifically about using aircraft in that mode.

I know. And here I was talking about my fear that auto-kicking will not work properly in ANY mode. At least not in first iteration. And I don’t see how will it work properly in seventh iteration either. We will be able to adjust (e.g. you retiring your pilots, me not throwing grenades in the middle of a group of enemies fighting with a single teammate), but I don’t see why do we need to adapt something that could be done better from start.

As I did not play the new mode yet, I stop posting and try it out first.
