Tanking sportsmanship

Uh, I thought those were just like regular ap… if they’re fixed I’ll take a look at the “sandcastle” if it’s on discount

A little… eheh.

But think about it. You know your enemy must pinpoint a pixel at great distance for a slight chance of taking you out.

I bet taunting them with my big “GOOD LUCK” will just throw their aim off even more… especially since I’m a dick, I angle my Jumbo and press back and forth repeatedly between my shots.

I mean you’re not wrong, I don’t think Ive ever been directly killed in a tiger by a jumbo but had my barrel taken out over and over again, makes me wanna bang me head against a wall :joy:

I’ve got the tool kit skill and 2 took boxes per crew member specifically for such an occasion

Haven’t actually tried the Jumbo in Enlisted, But it was pretty funny in Warthunder, 1 shotting tigers through the commander cupola (m61 shot. bad pen but good HE filler). Havent done it for sometime but was amusing.

It is a funny vehicle. But having it now I realize how truly overpowered it was vs pz4 when those were the top vehicles.

When you’re a good tanker… other tanks simply cannot take you down. That tiny pixel mg port weakspot cannot be targeted when I keep being mobile AND angled. The ONLY chance they have is if they shoot my tracks first… but by then I’ve took their canon out.

I honestly have NOT been taken out by ANY other tank with it yet, not even panther or tiger… My deaths came from pinpoint plane bombs or sneaky smart infantry.

Makes me think it will probably be higher br than the pz4 once the conversion is released.

Back in the day I always barrel snipe the jumbo, call me scum but the barrel was more easy to hit than the micro mg port

It’s legit, as jumbo drivers always do it (I do all the time).

But for some reason the jumbo barrel is more resistant than panther or tiger. It only takes 2 shot to take out a panther, tiger or pz4 barrel… seems to take more to take out a jumbo gun.

However it’s inverted with tracks: 1 or 2 shots and jumbo tracks are out. But it requires more to take out panther/tiger/pz4 tracks…

I wonder if they did that for balance.

Do you know you need fire HE or you overpen the barrel? Sure you are damage it but… to much time usually 2 HE on the barrel from the pz3n and job is done (if is not fixed/patched/darkflow balanced)

It would make sense. The jumbo regular ap doesn’t have enough pen, which is why it must not overpen the german barrels and damage them more…

However, it doesn’t explain why it’s inverted with tracks, jumbo having difficulty to track german tanks, while they track jumbo with ease…

I’m not sure it’s due to overpen.

Dont forget all german tank in normandy have additional armor on the tracks

Do they? I know they have spare “track armour” on most of their surfaces but didn’t know their regular tracks were better.

Either way, intentional or not, it act as some balance factor.

Still, I’m almost certain jumbo will be high br, probably more than pz4h

Is not a problem really, BR mix equipment of 1 level before and 1 level after, is sufficient that the jumbo is at the same level of pz4h and get matched with german equipped with panzerfaust or bf110,panther…

That’s only assuming Enlisted follows strictly Warthunder mechanics… and we don’t know about it, nor what br everything will be.

Meh, br matchmaking… such a pity. I’ll miss using high end stuff. No way I’ll have unpleasant (very limited) time among sweaty, no lifer, nerd kings thought. A very bad mm mechanic for Enlisted.

Wish that with their q&a they’d have said which brb everything will be.
