Tank in the gray zone - game vs reality

From gameplay perspective id say the current module system is by far better, regardless the green crosshair assists quite alot where u can pen and where most likely not atleast it requires some aiming.

Shrapnel thing probably would be RNG horror like pz3J1 shooting at cheek of t34, or turn the short 75mm guns OP as fk.

And Im pretty sure comitting suicide with tank to block view will be greatly appreciated.

No, RNG is not welcome, but chance often determined whether a module was damaged or not. There are mechanics that are difficult to implement in the game to make them work like in reality.
