One downside I see with the tank destroyers is there is no machine gun turret on it anywhere, making the tank destroyers useless if they get overrun by enemy squads. which is why I donā€™t ever use my gold order SU85M.

Standard one has it too.
Itā€™s tricky to use, but when someone gets used to it and use it only when really needed (really large groups of infantry, getting overrun etc.) it can do its job pretty well.

yes and no. you would choose to play with them or not , lol. it would be the same level as current tank but, with a squad. as right now, there is no reason to choose them over previous unlocked t34ā€™s or panthers in a lineup .

instd of this, you would have a squad with the SU

if you equip it on your line up or not , its your choise.
if you own premium slots, you can have both the anti tank and t34 equiped.
how that will affect the progression?

just because i unlocked flametrowers, doesnt mean i will play with them right? ā€¦ same can be applied here.

now i understand what you want, and i have to agree. Make Tank destroyers tank sqaud separate from a regular Tank Sqaud.

are you saying remove them from the game entirely? no that make it pointless. some people still would want to use it.

there is no reason to remove them.

a litle change with them having a unique squad to be choosed, like current bombers and fighters even for non premium players could make them more seen in the batlefield,

its rare to see them in a batle, since a early unlocked panther or t34 its far superiorā€¦ having the option to go with them on a separate squad, could make them more viable to have on a lineup, if , enemy team are spawning tanks untill tomorow.

its only my opinion tho, and what i wish to see, but, ofc i have to respect players that cant have more vehicles equiped. making this a hard decision for them to agree on. understandable.

I would rather have useless TDs to fill the campaigns than some experimental or time traveling stuff that is useful. Iā€™m here for WW2 setting, that includes TDs, halftrucks and other stuff that might be useless.

I think i need to clarify a bit
They are unusable in a city warfare, they donā€™t fit Berlin at all, using TDā€™s without turret in a tight streets - madnees, they are immobile, touretless, have no machineguns to kill infantry. And tanks are simply better in this situation, there are no reason to prefer TDā€™s over any tank in this campaign. There are no place for them. In moscow fields they would feel fine, but not on the streets

Btw both this TDā€™s were rare AF, and was made in just a few dozens exemplars

Laughs in FG42. Unfortunatelly devs donā€™t give a shit about history.
But I must say that I would rather see stug than panzerjager.
