Talk with Community about Monetization

It depends how it’s implemented.
“Dosis Facit Venenum” kind of thing

Stop arguing and bring the constructive feedback that keofox can actually use to get our message to the devs. Please, if we can stay positive, we can make this change.

Here it is. We are planning to tell about this.

But wait for the devblog.

GUYS keofox IS NOT A Developer. He is the Russian Community Manager of War Thunder and Enlisted.

Kefox,

Sorry for calling you dev but shouldn’t community manager for ENG section know better english?

I mean I just sometimes feel like ENG section has less power than the RU section despite being bigger

So you are saying we have no english community managers. Were we sending these suggestions into void?

Might also just be our fault for using too much slang.
He understood the rest perfectly fine, and his English is otherwise perfectly fine as well.

honestly, i’m not entirely sure.

i do understand that those talented people must earn money, and we all agree on that as it’s a job and a work for many people.

but making your enivorment plagued by inequalities based on a game that the whole team proclamed to be realistic and as a game is supposed to be, fun and letting people enjoy what they are playing, i don’t think it’s the case nor needed.

as we said before, there are planty of ways to make money out of it. examples, are cosmetics, skins, boosters and the list goes on.

premium squads are already more than a good starter and that’s great. but this newer mechanics breaks the whole immersion and fun out of the game. not to mention, people does not see very well those agressive microtransations. it just drives people away and not actually making the whole product earn money.

that even there, it is truee that you might get the initial money. but you are not counting that people that will buy weapons are most likely going to make their game experience shorter and they will most likely abandon the game much more faster than the others as they are done after getting those new weapons.
and people that does not want to pay for equipment will most likely abandon the game as most of the people will have better equipment.

although, i really hope that you people think about this through.
thanks for answering though.

How can I know if he’s reading the ENG section more than the RU section?

He answers on the Russian section much more often

what did I miss lmao

No one said this. There is plenty of very fluent English speakers and native English people that work on this forum.

You should not have to pay for a CHANCE at getting equipment. I would rather pay for faster progression like a premium account that gives +50% XP.
I would rather get a ‘‘silver’’ currency like in war thunder that can be earned but not purchased.
Such currency would be needed for the individual purchase of each gun.
A gold currency could be used for future premium equipment (hopefully equal or inferior to free equipment) and cosmetics.

too much to really TL;DR. Go read it. See you in 15min

I agree wholeheartedly.
All this hopefully also helped developers to get the idea what would be tolerated and what is just not acceptable as monetization mechanic.
Enlisted have so many good options to for monetization. It should never be spoiled by gambling and P2W.

I am sure @5762269 appreciate the devs he said he’s also working on a game and it sounds like a hard work. Also it’s important to remember that the game isn’t really in the hands of the devs, it’s in the hands of the higher ups.

Pls don’t hate on the devs and gaijin CMs, the devs just implant stuff they are told to implant, I don’t want enlisted forum to become disrespectful and unpleasant place to the devs and gaijin CMs.

I would again ask for devs to answer to us more just like they are doing it now.

Having honest discussions with community managers is good because we can find a conclusion and a compromise

I have been suggesting so much stuff, only once got an answer from the community manager which was negative so multiple players had to fight with him in order for him to consider it

True, more comunication would be nice. Untill now it was only “closed” in 99% of cases.

And that is what they are doing right now. Keofox, Zipping, the moderators, they are all replying here, right now. All we ask is for them to do the same on some of the other really big threads.
