Perhaps, perhaps not.
Important is, that āonly CBTā community made clear what is not acceptable and why. I think this whole debacle was a good thing, as monetization is very important and controversial topic and as such, it is important to know what are boundaries that can be tolerated by actual consumers.
In this case, I think that community actually did a good work by acting as āguard dogā in case official information release will be too late to deflect the worst and made all that clear in advance.
Also, if this whole thing encourages developers to communicate with their community on ābig topicā (TCat wording time!) threads, then it is even better, because communication is after allā¦ they key.

the T is only there because my name is too long for a āTheā, as the actual username TheCatPlaysGamez is actually from another account I have, for Crossout, from before it was a Gaijin account, cucking me out of using that username because they canāt merge the accounts

May I say that in almost 1 year of ā service ā I only heard him 5 times? And thatās all? I donāt mean to be disrespectfull towards anyone as Iām not the type ( I think ). But looking at fox that he is supposed to work for the Russian side, working in the english side as wellā¦ makes me a bit worried. He is kind enough to put his face and work hard while having somewhat of a conversation on both forums.
