Right? Or who only engage in two-circle fights, or who reverse a turn at the wrong moment…dogfighting is a knowledge and situational awareness game and so many people want it to be all about who’s got the better plane
I use the Normandy FW to dogfight because it is technically the best fighter I have, but the handling just throws me off and makes it difficult to land accurate shots
Yes, I will try using the BF109s, but I don’t think flaps are blinded on console, and if they are its going to be clunky and make me waste time
The Focke is THEORETICALLY a great fighter…
In altitude. It’s a pure energy fighter through and through.
In Enlisted… maps aren’t made for that. Dogfights are between 500m and 1km…
The 109 will suit you better.
Allright. I don’t know which one that is, but it looks like all the late-game german fighters don’t have great full-turn times. I have no way of know what speed that’s at, but they’re fast. Look up some videos on energy fighting, don’t ever be low and slow if you can avoid it, and see if you get some better outcomes.
I will take the p47 in game, but i am no pilot, i have there, because you have to take a plane/tank in load out.
and for grey zone, and for when there 2-3 real players on team, and a tank needs taking out, then i see not point fly back to point to rearm, due to i can bail get on ground, and another real pilot can be taking off by time i respawn, on ground, that’s before i even close to rearming point in sky.
i don’t fly other wise, there’s better pilots, and i prefer to be on ground.
and as a main engineer, i know AA at diff BR could/should be better for higher tier.
Yes, which one should I take though, the G10 or G14?or does it not really matter which one ?
Indeed, it doesn’t
Don’t get fooled by 14 being a higher number than 10. Basically the same performance.
Then you only have to choose which armament you prefer! (They’re sidegrades)
Thanks, wasn’t sure if it really mattered, just another slightly different model, camo, and name, so I’ll see if I can have any success against P47s.
Sounds like you got it covered
The Only p-47 the 109 has gotta worry about is the one you cant see. (Gets the jump on you)
Bf-109 g10 was a really good premium pick up, really good at strafing too (dual 30mm)
If only infantry were rendered sooner…
I’d never need bomblets anymore, and strafe all the time.
But yes, @GasMasters , as Myr said, P47 will only cause you trouble if you did’nt see it (like any plane, really), or if you try the “who chickens first” with it and both fly straight at each others while shooting…
Forgot to mention, the fiat g55 is a beast aswell and has bombs.
Highly recommended. Better than 109s (at least in warthunder and what little i used it in tunisia)
I’ve played that game before over the skies of Moscow, and needless to say the soviet and German piolets those planes didnt survive the war, midair collision isn’t very good for people’s health if you didn’t know.
This actually works, and even if none chicken, they impact, and P47 fairs pretty well
Yes, that’s the thing: p47 is heavier, it tanks many more hits than the paper 109… It’s why it’s ill advised to do so with it!
Kind of a light tank charging at an armoured train.
don’t forget the Tiger King and fg42, stg44 and the high win percentage.
The Germans already had the upper hand in BR5 armament.
I think you should be wondering why no one in the team is building anti-aircraft guns and flying fighter jets.Instead of complaining about removing all threatening weapons
well this has a simple answer: it’s because we don’t have fighter jets yet
And? Your point? 500lb’er is insurance
It´s not practice if you do it in live matches but just trial and error. Not sure what you´re trying to proof here. It´s like me going “Tiger 2? Pah it´s easy to take those down, just run up and place some TNT and problem solved.” Like yeah it´s possible but it´s not really the tool you would want to use. Higher caliber AAs when?
Which is why they were preferred IRL - so hte game models reality!
