I didn’t think this needed to be stated, but adding a prototype vehicle that gathered enough interest to be ordered into production (only to be cancelled when their enemy surrendered) is more sensical than turning the game into fucking Wolfenstein.

To counter germany’s end tier equipment we are gonna have to go into the future to counter it so it would be better to go wolfenstein instead of going that route.
based of some google searches it says the is-2 and t-54 wouldnt have problems penetrating the sides of the tank after all the Maus was a super heavy tank so with the speed of the t-54 it would have been able to flank the tank since it moves at slow speeds and the Sturmtiger with a long reload would end up dying as well also the sturmtiger would be a meme tank like the kv2
This isn’t War Thunder, stuff like flanking doesn’t really work in this game. Also basically every single tank is weak from being flanked, that’s not a reasonable argument. If anything the Maus is uniquely resilient to being flanked due to how thick its side and rear armour is compared to other vehicles ingame. Outside of maybe a couple of shot-traps the US 76mm can’t even penetrate it anywhere without using APCR.
The T-54 literally existed during WW2.
So did a lot of stuff for Germany.
So if you want to have your cake then you may as well open Pandora’s box so everyone else can have some too or or have no cake and then everyone can be happy that we have nothing.

I recently managed to flank a German tanker in my bt-7. My team had spotted him a few buildings down and I managed to take a right flank using my speed and shot him from behind since my tank was having trouble penetrating the front of the tank so I wouldnt say flanking doesn’t work it all depends on the map and if your team is actually playing as a team. Theres also the kv1 with 75mm of armor all around except the back that is at 70 while it is strong it never last the whole match basically the Maus would be the br5 version of the kv1 at br3 while being strong from the front and sides it can still be destroyed if not by tanks it can be by flanking AT cannons or planes
We have a lot more to gain than you soviets or allies do if you open Pandora’s box so please do and we will be at full strength while you will be fighting in future with future nonsense.
Yea and I’m not completely against the inclusion of prototype equipment for Germany. The question is if and when they are needed, game balance is important you can’t just tit for tat your way through adding stuff.
Please stop bringing up that nonsense because if you come across Soviet or allied veteran players who have everything playing against them is a joke.
And if you look at BR1 the Soviets and the allies slaughter Germany and Japan.
Soviets with a superior body armor and better machine guns and allies with their tanks and lots of machine guns.
And @Dregomz I summon you for you have studied almost everything to the point of insanity but not at the same level as I have but you have your own specialties.
