T-34-57 (1943) - Gunner's hatch

Allow the gunner to use his hatch.

The commander is currently the only crew member who can use his hatch. But that role is pretty useless in this tank, because it doesn’t have a periscope that points forward.

Some tanks already have gunners who can use hatches. These are usually tanks that do not have a commander as a separate role (e.g. T-60).

Of course, when the gunner peeks out of the hatch, the tank cannot fire the main gun (gunner is busy) nor can use other MGs (gunner is not giving commands to other crewmembers).

However, it still gives the tank the necessary versatility.

Yes, the same is needed for the Diamler Mk II as well.

M10 gunners used to be able to stick their heads out and look forward, but not anymore
