So this is how this disaster of a season ends, not with a bang but with a unhear cry into the night.
Objectively no group within the player-base wanted Gold Orders to end, not the F2Ps, not the wallet “warriors”, not even the clan try-hards. The only argument was determining the total damage exacted by this change. But alas, many of us still chose to grit our teeth for the sake of a faster season. But now we have THREE delays already, meaning the only positive change this new format promised has already vanished.
Now the compensation we were supposed to receive has been nothing short of rationed slop, the metaphorical bottom of the barrel. The developers saw how positively players reacted to getting free GOs but instead of giving them an event loaded with extra GOs, we have instead gotten meaningless melee weapons that I would rather use for committing seppuku than actual combat.
A few days ago, I was silenced on the forum for two days after posting a meme. Frustrated, I called them out on Reddit, only to be instantly bombarded with bot-like replies mocking me. Interestingly, those replies were deleted the next day. Then, two days ago, I commented on a Napoleon Total video about the same issue. Shortly after, I received an ephemeral YouTube notification warning me for alleged harassment, even though my comment wasn’t vulgar or offensive. At the time, I hadn’t commented much on YouTube in the previous 24 hours, and the warning appeared about an hour after my comment about the game.
At this point, I’m starting to think they have a small group of people or bots targeting anyone who repeatedly criticizes the game or gets in their way.
Because of this, I’m semi-actively looking for another game to play. These kinds of tactics are completely unacceptable to me. It’s disappointing, especially since I was even considering buying premium for the first time this year after two years of free grinding and 55 days of total playtime.
@JoeRogan87 I checked your message history and I can assure you didn’t got silenced for the meme, I bet the moderator who did it, has done it because of the other thing you posted and I for respect of people who suffer of that problem it I’m not going post what it is, outside telling is a difficult medical situation… Therefore as for our guidelines you got a short suspension from posting, further complaints and rule breaking are going bring more heavy punishment, so behave yourself this is a public place anyone can visit
I wonder how long it’s going to take to finish this magical event. I also wonder how low their player base count will end up by the end of this delayed season since this forum is basically useless in reaching Darkflow
this event got the moderators working over time checking every message in regard to the 8 swords and the 4 tasks you have to do in order to complete these phases. hopefully everyone completes this event before time runs out on the 18th of March
I loved the event and got all the swords! There were some I didn’t have, which was satisfying for me and other new players who don’t have enough swords! The prizes could be more balanced to please both veterans and newer players!
