I mean its one thing to not have a Free French squad and weapons, but at least let the side that used all the captured gear to ya know, have all the captured gear they need to make proper lineups.

I’m actually dreaming of early war battles like Poland 1939, Finland 1939-40, France 1940…
This is the stuff that is never represented and always overshadowed by the Hollywood-ised D-days and Tigers, unless it’s some indie game or hardcore sim like Post Scriptum (which was really fun with France 1940 when that DLC jsut dropped actually).
A real shame we can’t have cool WW2 stuff, even though Enlisted could be a great platform for all kinds of factions and maps.

Oh trust me, Im a major early war fan, by far my favourite era in the likes of GoH and etc, playing as the Finnish in the winter war will never not be fun.
Not to mention, between Finland (Which could work easily up to BR4 as well), Norway, France (Again could work up to BR4 well), and etc etc, your spoilt for choice on where to set new maps and what you could do.
Though before early war is added, the UK and Italy (The French too ideally, moving into the free french later, just give them US uniforms for later battles with FFI armbands or etc.) kinda need to be split off to be proper subfactions, able to queue alongside the US and Germany respectively, but also able to filter into their own games to allow early North Africa, Norway, early France and etc. Not to mention maps like Singapore or Hong Kong(No/limited vehicle mode when?) could become options.
God there is so much potential, alas I digress.

total agree that, no perk solder with br3 semi auto rifle is horrible.
Man, the last thing this game needs is burnout, so stop increasing the mission thresholds, I’m so tired of grinding, can’t I just play the game for fun? It’s summer, I got more important things to do.

I’m very sad that we don’t have battle of France and China campaigns now I hope we get at least Manchuria but i need to play squad 44 to play battle of France very disappointing…

it’s that those campaigns wouldn’t offer much beside few maps.
and above all, offers 0 replayability or balance.
given the monetization system of enlisted, no shit Manchuria or any of 1940 campaigns are nowhere in sight.
so, unless made through events, you ain’t gonna see them any time soon.
they would, however, appear through mod if only they would allow us to work and upload custom content to be made.

I mean French maps would allow a lot of BR’s to have new maps. And easier to make since you could reuse a lot of the Normandy assets.
Finland as well would offer a lot of BR’s new maps, and again, there is a lot of assets that could be reused, I mean the mannerheim line would be an awesome map.
Realistically for Singapore, you could reuse a massive amount of assets and terrain if you made a UK only map of Singapore but a mixed faction map for say Borneo or etc, and that could work for BR1 all the way to BR5.

French maps are definitely not a bad thing, but things like standalone French faction is total nonsense.
French stuff can be part of Western allies tech tree or European Axis tech tree.
There’s no reason to made whole seperate tech tree for faction that lasted ±1 month in WW2. And then basically never fought on its own.
Same goes for polish etc. They can be part of already 2 existent tech trees.

This got me thinking after taking a closer look to the M10, it is an open top vehicle but if something were to hit the frontal turret, how tf are the Radio man and the driver going to scape when the turret is blocking the way? damn

I do agree there, however the UK deserves its own faction, if only to allow British only and US only battles, then plus a few mixed ones, the more variety the better.

US tanks commonly had escape hatches under the tank too. Very useful in a vehicle turnover which is surprisingly common, even out of combat.

I absolutely won’t mind sharing 100% of queues/campaigns with the US, I’d just like once in a blue moon to have the odd all Commonwealth game.
