My few suggestions for future Battle Pass weapons. Drop yours!
MP41(r)
PPSh chambered for 9x19 cartridges and adapted for MP40 magazines. The modification was done by German forces. Should be available for Germans in Berlin.
Pistolet maszynowy Mors wz. 39
Polish submachine gun produced since 1939. Only 52 was made. Shoots with 9x19 cartridge and use 25 round magazines. Should be available for Germans in Moscow.
Pre-war Kar98k with ZF41 scope
ZF41 has really low magnification - only x1,5, so it would be gun for every class. Should be available for Germans in Moscow and Berlin.
Fliegerfaust
It would be aviavle for Soviet and German Bombers in Berlin. It shoots 9 rockets with same warhead as 20 mm AA gun aviable now. You would have only one shot with this launcher.
Howell automatic rifle
Semi-auto Lee-Enfield. Aviable for every British class in Tunisia.
Ugly and weird weapons are the best to get with gold orders! Collectors treasures.
I’m also fan of oldies, so I’d love the lewis lmg for the brits: it’s uselessly big, its ugly as can be, it’s not really effective compared to even the Bren… I want, no… I NEED it!
I’d be really torn if they somehow manage to create a maxim hmg for the soviets. Even if my soldier would HAVE to pull it around on a sled and set it up before firing it… I’d have no choice but to chose that instead.
to be honest, i would rather only have unique weapon skins on current weapons.
like the current engraved pistols.
so, we can have more weapons avaiable to all players at all time.
unique weapons are cool and all, sure, but its content we dont see as much on the long run.
how many swords do we see daily? , engraved pistols and so on?
the concept would be the same as current vehicle skins, but on weapons…
same could be said to current exclusive premium squad weapons… besides the italian smg on moscow/normandy and g41… but anyway.
current premium squads already cut weapons and vehicles from normal non payer users, any batlepass weapon ill stay like that forever and ill see litle to almost no action…
Yes, I need more fancy looking pistols! However, shouldn´t these be reserved for twitch drops (that should occur a bit more frequently for the sake of game promotion) for the time being?
but in this case, was to give my idea, some context.
also, if i may point out, i do own all the twitch drops so far, and guess how many times per day/week, month i do use them?.. i would say 0.
they are cool and all, and great as future collect porposes, but its rare i fire a single bullet from one of them.
first because i only own 1 or 2 per faction , and most times the soldier i m playing with doesnt have it equiped… they are a good example of a nice, good looking, rare item, but useless to have.
I use the rhino all the time just because I find it fun to play… (when I do play Normandy)
In Moscow the veteran bt7 remains a favourite of many players, too…
As for unique weapons, I use the suomi smg every match when playing Germans (same as the sword wich is equippedto the same guy). I also remember you own 3 Shmeisser in Normandy, you MUST use them from time to time?
I mean, MG42s are awkward ones, as different bolt manufacturers meant different RPMs, some with heavier bolts only had up to 900 rounds, while lighter bolts could go upwards of 1500.
Usually split for the MGs intended use, but sometimes they got mixed about. Reenactment group I was in had a wartime ‘heavy’ bolt that was from an AA defence unit and its rpm was reportedly absurdly high, but it was supposed always connected to long belts so it didn’t really matter.
Not sure what it’s rpm is in game, but it’s probably not far out the realistic values
Overall, from what I know, MG42 was intended to have 1500 theoreticall rpm (in practise it turned out to be 1200) and other bolts for different rpms were “optional”.
Of course as you’ve said it’s ideal situation, in field it certainly looked different. Allthough I can’t imagine that whole Wehrmaht lost / destroyed / worn out / did whatever with all their standard MG42 bolts and they all decided to use heavy ones instead like it’s the case in Enlisted apparently.
From your description it sounds more like a light bolt.
900 rpm on hand held one. Stationary is probably similar, I don’t see why it would be different.
Mearly 75% of it’s true rof, pathetic.
Yes it would be basically a nerf. But it’s already inferior to MG34 in every aspect so at least make it historical.
Also recoil can be changed as it’s not technical char. and ammo consumption can be dealt with in the future with introduction of 100 - 300 round ammo belts.
