Yeah, if thereā€™s anything Iā€™ve learned, is that basically every empire of scale tends to have atrocities in itā€™s history at some point in time, and so too with many states of lesser scale. No one is without sin.

About all you can do is call out those who are presently causing bullshit (like China) and do your best to not adopt a mindset of guilt by association, or any form of carrying the blame of past generations onto the present (sins of the father and so such).

Also remember to teach children that Communism, and any form of authoritarian socialism of any sort has failed every time itā€™s been tried, and usually ends up with a sizeable body count.

All countrys have some dark history in them.

For once, Portugal pretty much open the slave trade in the naval discoverys.

Itā€™s praised right now as the country founder of discovery routes and trades and all the naval empire it once had. . But no one talks about the slavery. It shows that isnā€™t important to know and to praise a dark moment in the past. Only what it acchived matters. Not the way it did.

Reminder the Moscow CBT pack Germans are SS, only the SS used the MP41 in combat. Ergo they are SS. Get over it.

I support depiction of the actual untis of ww2 in a ww2 game. We already have pseudo SS units in game as pointed out.

The NKVD is literally present in Battle of Berlin and Moscow which were infamous in carrying out purges and exporting people to the gulag.

I would like to see some other intersting units such as Axis Allies (Hungarian, Italian, Romanian were doing joint warfare in Stalingrad), Ostruppen, Soviet penal batallions, Partisans, Nazi Strafbattallions (Id like to see strafbat 999 in tunisia) , Nachtjager, and even the Brandenburgers.
