first welcome to the forum
i’m from war thunder too (like everyone else here) but for a different reason how much i love aerial battles using tanks and ships as if i were playing counterstrike is not really something that drives me crazy (repair costs it would take a separate book to complain about it with at least 7 sequels).
I can only be surprised knowing a new player skilled in the use of tanks (considering that most players still try the frontal approach) and I can promise you that if we ever collide in battle I will come to blow you up (I’m very good at blowing up tanks)

Im a tank enjoyer, I normally use it to quickly destroy enemy tanks and prevent my teammates from being slaughtered, and then blow up the infantry with the HE ammunition, but lately I like to fry bastards with the flamethrower, just watch how 4 or 5 are set on fire at the same time is magnificent.
I also use mortar for variety.
