Sturmgewehr 44 should be Germany's rifleman rifle

How could the Soviets have fixed the drum for the PPSh?

There wasn’t problem in drum… there was problem in drum production.
So you could easily answer on your question by yourself.

It’s was a cheaper option. But not the single.

Cheaper, much easier to produce/transport/carry/load, much more reliable. There are multiple reasons why not only this type but mostly all sorts of drum magazines were phased out sooner or later (not mentioning Mg drums, which are basically belt boxes).

Also long after ww2.
Irony here is that there is literally 2 (two) drums in your prove video.
Just like said, each ppsh had 1-3 drums that fit exact gun.

Yea, by making stick mags?

What is the difference between a box magazine and a drum magazine? there is a whole table full of magazines and they all fit. Perhaps the problem is exaggerated? Magazines might not fit weapons produced at different factories, the key word is “might”. It is obvious that each PPSh did not have unique magazines suitable only for it, obviously for normal people.

It’s good that there are no more questions about the reliability of the weapon.

this

and this

one is technically possible to do home with basic powertools and one requires machinery.
Il leave you figure out which one is which.

If you define yourself as a clown, then fine. I don’t judge. It’s your choice and I’m ready to support it.
but still answer the question, what is the difference between a box magazine and a drum magazine in the PPSh? Specifically in the part that is inserted into the weapon?
Let me answer for you. there is no difference. The way the magazine is attached is the same.
so where can I see what you were talking about?

Just like said, each ppsh had 1-3 drums that fit exact gun.

STG suffers? Now I’ve heard it all.
