Here’s a recording I took in my last match of me sniping at 200+ meters with a non-scoped bolt:
At 0:38 you can clearly see me aim over the guys head and get a chest shot at roughly 220 m. But I guess bullet drop isn’t in game and I need to go try it out again because I must be wrong

On the Dday map using the M3 Sub … find a hole and start shooting at the bunkers … watch the tracers and you will see plenty of bullet drop … then you will be dead …
First this isn’t a sniper so its clear you haven’t been listening to this entire conversation, 2nd you aimed right at him not over his head.
that doesn’t disprove that there’s no bullet drop especially if you watch my test

look at the very end and watch for the tracer or even the dust being kicked up
A bolt action sighted at 100m has more drop than a sniper sighted at 200m ffs. And no, you can see me put it just above his head and get a chest shot. Literally look at the pictures below of my video where you can see his head in relation to the house’s coloring, and then where my sight is in relation to the house’s coloring.
You can see his head level with the mid red stripes, I aim at the mid white stripes above it.
Theres multiple shots in there where I do that. You can also see the massive delay between a shot being fired and the hitmarker, which proves its not hitscan as you’re loving to claim.
You can obviously see the bullet drop in there. This guy just absolutely refuses to admit hes wrong

on the main topic, i have neutral feelings to be honest, as someone said in another post, this map it’s balance, players can make the difference.
as a german player and Ex Allied ““veteran””, both team can win if they co-operate whithin each other.
i used to remember that for the ally, just weeks ago when the first test of normandy, and progression were included, was a cake walk for the ally.
than the devs restricted certain areas making it a quite straight foward map with less flanks routes.
still won a couple of matches, and lost others.
in the current version, i would say that germany wins and lose like before ( during CBT ).
but this is just based on my experience of a series of months.
might be different from the others elder members, let me know.

the server doesn’t register hits often but that doesn’t mean there is bullet drop.
wrong the only way to cap the point is take a grenade and enter the point…

There is literally a " open hatch " with ladders on the roof to get inside a room and blast the germans from behind.
you can get on top of the roof, crawl your way into. so having 3 access for the bunkers.
but the averange allied soldiers seems to know only 2 entrances. the hole and the door, i guess they love kissing barded wire or getting filled with holes like a cheese from the surroundings mgs.

Yes, going on the roof will protect allies from bunker MGs))) Germans also set barbed wire at those entrances too.
That being said, I’ve only lost D-Day as the attackers probably 3 times out of tens of battles on that map.
considering that the ally always tend to secure the rear bunkers, i think they do)))
as i said before, i started to play germans, and both in squad game and lone fighter, people rarely put barded wire there, as it’s more complicated due to finding the pixel for positioning correctly the barded wire.
i mean, yeah. it’s not that hard if everyone does the job.

D-Day is rough for the Allies (the real thing was much, much worse), but once they have taken the first objective, it gets much, much easier. Take another, and you’re almost guaranteed to win.
Wow, a clip of you sniping a guy at 200 meters with a gun sighted at 200 meters and then saying theres no bullet drop because it went were you pointed. Mind blown
