Hiding player ranks on opponents team is clearly a ploy to limit people abandoning.
You know what would work better? Don’t spawn me into a game (on defense) where the second point is nearly capped and people have over 40 kills already.
Almost zero chance to win. NOT fun. Will abandon. That is all.
One of the biggest issues when it comes to defense games is that there is no time in between objectives. They just push straight to the next one and its extremely difficult to counter it, especially when people bail.
Not only that, but as defense you aren’t given any forewarning about where the next objectives will go. If we had this information, rally points could be set in advance, as could ACTUAL DEFENSES. Defenses that could turn the tide of a fight from an absolute stomp fest into a playable game.
While it’s not the main issue for me, I also feel that if rank points are affected by battle hero then it’s totally unreasonable to be spawned into a game that late. I manage to not lose a point most times but when it’s like 5 matches in a row where you spawn into a lost match AND you’re far behind for a battle hero it’s just annoying. I do not play games to be annoyed.
I’ll keep playing this one for a while. I may or may not make it to the day where the major changes are implemented.

I just don’t care about stats or tasks or battlepass this and that, I’m here to win games. If a weekly task or three gets accomplished in doing so. Cool beans, I don’t have to do any of these things to have fun.
It’s so bad right now I can’t even find a game to play. I will play a game where we lose but I won’t play a game that is lost already or in a deep hole. I don’t want to spawn 200+m from the point while the opponent is already there and fortified - or on the 2nd point, tanks are on the point, planes are in the air… it’s just not the way the game should work. If this doesn’t get improved (it’s worse now than before the recent update), I’ll just not bother at all. It’s embarrassingly bad and takes the fun out of the game.
I havent seen any improvement in this situation. Most of the times I am put into a lost battle is due to rage quitters. Its even worse that the game then makes you wait another 30 seconds as you see capture point falling ( or even the 2nd one). If you are thrown into a match already started, at least let you spawn in instantly. Another issue is that there needs to be a delay of capture between points. Just put into another seal clubbing losing battle where as soon as CP was captured, a sqaud was already precamped on new cp setting up landmines etc and started capturing straight away.
