Soviets vs Japanese

Both the Soviet and Japan only have one faction to fight in battle so it would make sense for to make Soviet vs Japan maps. Since we already have both the factions we only need a map like for example Manchuria in China. The Soviet Union deployed over 1.5 million troops into Manchuria for their campaign against Japan.

If they did this, we could also add Chinese squads to the soviet tech tree or premium.

I don’t see any problems with this, but there might be some that I am not aware of

I also want to see this in the future. But I believe both factions don’t have the numbers yet to be split into two different queues. Both Japan and USSR don’t have that many players unlike Germany or Allies. So adding a new queue would only affect their own matchmaking, I believe. We have to wait until the playerbase numbers increase for both factions.

Yes!!! Add this and you will see even more deserters!

Not really, you don’t need to split into 2 separate queues for a faction. You can just have 1 queue that will decide the faction you will face after having enough players in the queue.

Thank you for your post, I agree.

What I have considered is the Sino-Japanese War. For this, China would be a sub faction under USSR.

The USSR supplied China (along with USA) during the War, but the main reason I would put them under USSR is as a way for USSR and Japan to fight.

I think specifically Chinese battles like Shanghai or others (my Chinese friends here can hopefully expand more since Im not very familiar with the exact battles) would add more variety in maps, arguably more than Manchuria which is still snow maps (USSR is all snow maps).

This would add a new faction (which by the way has a huge market) and tick off ‘Sino Japanese War’ without needing a whole new Chinese faction on its own or creating new queues.

Please note Im not against Manchuria I just think Sino-Japanese War overall would be more interesting and maybe attract more players (especially from PRC/Taiwan)

what makes you think so?

What would be in this “subfaction” other than literally everyone else’s equipment? I don’t think USSR needs all of America’s, some of Germany’s, a solid chunk of Japan’s, and copies of their own stuff in their tree, thanks

Lets pray that he meant Manchuria

The Chinese did have their own equipment. Also I find it funny your complaint since USSR tech tree already has copy paste German stuff, plus USA lend lease so it would hardly be anything new adding a couple more German or American weapons.

If it were me Id just look at what USSR already has and then add China specific weapons to that, like the 88 and Chiang Kai Shek rifle. Again Id refer to my Chinese fellow Enlisted players to expand on specifics.

Shame that it’s delayed till next year but as long as it would be confirmed then i’m fine with it.

Without disagreeing, I can’t follow your logic. Can you explain why there would be more deserters? And on which side? I’m lost.

Yeah I’m pretty against all of that

I strongly support the implementation of the Japan-Soviet War in the game, but I have political concerns. I am worried that the Chinese government might view a game where militaristic Japan fights communist forces on Chinese territory (Manchuria) as anti-establishment. This could potentially lead to the blocking of platforms like Steam or PSN.
