Soviet SMG is unfair

Well. The PPSh was better than the MP40 in many hard factors. I would be fine with it if the MG34 would at least kick ass in a reasonable way.

yea that is probably the best point about this discussion, MGs were extremely good back in the day and thus the Soviets had better SMGs, while axis had better MGs.

once the bipods get fixed there wouldn’t be any problem to begin with

Soviet smgs are fine, they are supposed to be that good.

What DOESN’T make sense is how low is the recoil of AVS, AVT and especially Fedorov… All with their absurdly high damage per round.

Fedorov makes stgs look like poor men’s assault rifles… :stuck_out_tongue:

But there’s no bias, ofc.

I would also not mind if mg 34 had at least some reasonable dispersion.
If at a short distance it is a monster, then at medium and long distance it is a complete invalid.

well MGs dispersion is ridiculous on a level where you can miss your target at 5 meters distance, despite your sights being 100% on target.

Well their dispersion is as bad as yours (but of course they have more bullets to toss your way & - Box mag PPSh-41 having the least amount of dispersion next to the Mp-38 and Orita M1941)

Either way they’ll have more bullets to toss your way in a short period of time which is why they’re strong, you can’t really balance it without making it either an ammo hog by making it have god awful damage, giving it an absurd amount of recoil, or adding more dispersion (cringe)

And it’s a fact that the slower shooting Federov is better anyways

it,s the main gun soviets have. every army has it,s great advantages.

to germans it,s the MG13 in moscow. even whit the MG34 unlocked i still use in my ‘‘heavy assaulters’’

but true, PPSH is a pain in the ass.

I’m not saying the MP40 is better or anything, just that it’s an SMG that does it’s job properly unlike some others (MP3008). And hell, Federov is far better anyways

quite sure the clown vacancy has never been shifted from you.

Overpenetration.
Discontinued from use unlike 9mm

Il just leave those 2 there. Quite sure even this matter has been explained quite few times to you.

edit; il take that discontinued part back since in certain liberation of washing machines conflict it seems the soviet side has deployd stuff from ww1.
So cant really guarantee the ppsh aint in use.

Damn
