The Browning wz 1928 was Poland’s standard light machine gun and a derivative of the Browning Automatic Rifle.
The wz 1928 is a Premium German MG squad since Germany used these captured weapons after conquering Poland.
However the conquest of Poland is a little more complicated. Germany and the USSR joined forces to conquer Poland, Germany from the West and the USSR from the east. Germany and the USSR were nominal allies and agreed to conquer their respective spheres of influence.
I think the USSR should receive a Browning wz 1928 Squad as well. Like Germany the USSR used captured weaponry whenever they could and wz 1928s were used during the war. It would represent the interesting and complicated history of WW2 as the USSR too invaded Poland which started WW2
In fact, the USSR had a lot of developments to replace the DP 27, and I think I would like to see them, and not the trophy that the enemy already has in the form of Germany.
I don’t really see a reason for it. Germany already has most of the polish guns in some form.
Obviously this suggestion would be relatively easy to implement but I think the focus should instead be put on maybe adding polish guerillas with one of the several polish resistance smg designs instead of copy-pasting some of the stuff we already have.
if darkflow was to give the USSR all the equipment they used then a whole bunch of early BR US equipment would also eventually probably be made available.
How about a Polish army in the east subfaction for USSR? Some Polish squads would also be avaible to western allied faction but equipped with US/British weapons.
If I had to choose one organization for such, it would be Armia Ludowa, the commie partisan faction, or LWP, into which it was integrated, with their weapon being Bechowiec in the 7.62 Tokarev.
Anything else (like AK) doesn’t really make much sense, at best.

Giving the Soviets a MG 42 or Allies Stg is worse because it’s copying their arsenal.
But Germany and USSR invaded Poland so their arsenal is fair game.
In an alternate world they instead had a Soviet wz 1928 squad and I would be saying the same thing that they should add a German equivalent because both forces used this captured gun
