Yeah it is extremely overpriced and should be like the decals are. Once you unlock it you can use it for every tank or plane. I would be perfectly willing to pay 600 gold for a few cosmetics if I could use them on all of my soldiers, I am not spending 600 gold per soldier which I might replace later.
