Itās only 6 people you have to worry about but when you look at the Soviet faction you can give them almost all body armor except for the medic squad or pilots or tankers
I never notice a difference with Soviet body armor when Iām playing Germany so I honestly doubt its a big deal
But I remember the screeching when the Mkb had its damage reduced by .2 and there were dozens of posts fucking screaming about it and on discord too
In the near future and with a combination of other things I think you should be concerned when it comes to body armor and especially when it comes to Asian death stacks.
keep in mind 10% of 13 of lmg class is 1.3 which still crosses the 10 to down threshold of people not using a crutch perk while 83% of 46 headshot damage from a bolt action is 8 total damage
well the headshot armor is useful without a doubt - however personally I am not using this squad, my main reason to play with engineers is rather specific, they get the āprone movement speed boostā as a default perk. The Assault engineers squad doesnāt get that bonus, so its no good for me.

yes there are many noobs, but when players have reached BR3, most of their soldiers will have vitality by that point, so your 10 dmg threshold should absolutely be 13.5.
Funnily enough MGs are not influenced by body armor at all, because they never down/kill in one shot anyways, so a 10% reduction of damage from armor doesnt change the bullets to kill.
Still FG42 turn from a one hit kill/one hit down into now needing two bullets, which wouldnāt be a problem if FGs dealt the same damage as T20 rifles. Body armor is much more effective than you guys like to admit.

does it even matter? you use it for your HE, well one could argue that having āsomeā AT capability can still be very powerful - in the end you can take out other troop transporters and even a hellcat with its non existent armor, but in reality you move your APC to a good spawning location and never use the gun anyways.
My issue, Iām not sure if I am correct, but it seems that german equipment has much higher recoil than the soviet gear. Like, I grab a soviet submachinegun, and it recoils much less than any home faction equivalent in the tech tree.
I should probably try to compare things at the practice range.

I doubt that very much as even as a veteran Iām still leveling guys up and barely remembering to do perks at all
And the vast majority of the playerbase doesnāt min/max to begin with meaning youāll run into perked out juiced giga nibbas even less often
Yea I donāt do vitality at all sure it more health but it aināt gonna help when you get shot with like 20 bullet from 5 guy

I dont know, even back in CBT i tried as fast as possible to get my soldiers running with vitality, it has always been obvious to me how important that perk is, I canāt imagine people not trying to max that perk out.
I am one of those people I would rather take stamina and other stuff
