Sidearms are overpriced and should be reduced

The sidearms are way overpriced, the 1911 is three silver orders, meanwhile the M1 Carbine is Two Silvers, Side arms should be one silver at most across the board or even just Bronze orders.
Same thing in Moscow, where the TT and the Mauser are both three silver orders, which is on par with the end game equipment, but is nowhere nearly as useful or capable.

Yes, they’re overpriced.

I’d rather their price be tied to campaign level like the other weapons.

Unless the pistol is unlocked at level 11+, it would cost 1 silver.

it is historically accurate tho

I don’t think any nation in history had a system of exchanging bronze and silver order cards for equipment.

i mean sidearms being rare, they were usually only given to squad leaders, officers, vehicle crews and second line troops, not to standard infantry.

tank crews werent given an smg per member and a few tnt packs per tank. pilots werent given the same. fg 42 wasnt given to every german folkstrum (prolly misspelled that) soldier and his brother. id say sidearms are not worth going full historical over if it improves gameplay to let them be a last resort for regular soldiers (as compared to a last resort for only officers).

Who uses pistols anyway?
Even if you go NKVD style, and put the pistol to the back of the wounded enemy head, chances are you will miss, or he will survive.

i already said in another topic
the only times i could see pistols being useful is close range if you have a BA rifle, but then you always have the reliable oneshot of a rifle and usually a bayonet
pistols are worse than even the worst SMGs

Well, pistols in Enlisted are not part of essential equipment. They were considered “rare drop” alongside axes. New players don’t need them to fight back at all.

So this change is aimed at veteran players who might have hundreds of silver orders laying around with nothing more to spare them at. So now then can get all the pistols they want.

This needs to be put in Feedback forum on latest update, but I agree they are overpriced…

Just glad they finally added the high power as a standard pistol

Most pistol have same stats go for the cheap one is only one silver

personally I’d like to see the lowest tier ones be maybe one ticket cheaper or at the very least make it so the low tier enfields and such can be scrapped for some bronze tickets comparable to what you’d get for a bolt action that cost the same to buy, maybe the higher tier ones too but the enfields are the ones I have a ton of I’d like to upgrade to Webleys or the 1911, might even be nice to have the ability to upgrade the revolvers to give them a reload speed boost that uses speed loaders.

also why is the hi-power used by the American side when it likely saw more service with the Germans, British and especially Canadians?

if you wanna give the Axis something perhaps also consider adding the Norwegian 1914 pistol, basically their take on the 1911 that the Germans utilised after Norway was occupied.

The same reason the allies have the enfield and Bren in Normandy. Dark flow decided to add commonwealth weapons but not the soldiers because…reasons? I guess. Should of have gave it to the Germans as well though, they even get a twitch reward hi power
