In the old campaigns, if you researched an item in one campaign, that item wasn’t automatically unlocked in the other campaign. But once you unlocked the weapons in both campaigns (if I remember correctly), you could transfer them between those campaigns.
So exactly the opposite. You needed to research them, but you didn’t need to buy them in both campaign.
But the transfer was not for free.
I wouldn’t mind that. Moreover, if the periods were separated from each other. You wouldn’t have to play a period you don’t care about.
Whereas in the system you propose, you’d have to grind through all of ww2 to get to the Korean war.
We could. But there’s definitely potential for Germany to have BR6. They had so many interesting experimental stuff. It would be wasted potential. Especially in game that’s okay with prototype and other rare stuff.
Lately, meaning the last couple months I can hardly buy a win with my level 1, 2 or 3 Russians, or my Allies. However, in the Allies defense I rarely play them anymore since DF insists on pitting my level 3 allies against level 5 Japanese and instead of playing my level 5 allies I decided just to play level 5 Germans trying to get a dozen squads maxed out, and I am 75% there. Allies are completely maxed at every level, and Russians I am 75% maxed in level 3, but need to work on their level 5. Japs, still in the base stage with only playing 11 games in 3 years.
