Share your ideas how to ballance RPzB Panzerschreck

I mean the fail of Tunesia release.

I don’t follow. Could you please elaborate?

It won’t need special balancing. It’s not that powerful or that easy to use, but it’ll definitely be a step up from what we have.

It has almost 3 times the penetration of allied counterpart. Imo it’s enough to call it powerfull.

Only thing that make it hard to use is shield. I don’t think it’s enough to justify it.

Using the bazooka in CBT as a reference, you do have to adjust more than you would think for range, and the damage post-pen isn’t game breaking.

You shouldn’t use it to snipe from the other side of the map anyway.
I use szturmpistole about 20-30m from the enemy tank. “Bullet drop” isn’t going to be an issue from that range.

Well, diameter of panzerschreck rocket is 1,5 times of the bazooka rocket diameter. It seems to be a lot of boom filter. Also (if nothing changed) panzerfaust was great at dealing with tanks when I checked berlin.
So I guess we will have to see how it works when it gets implemented.

If you’re that close a set pack is going to be better than anything else.
I use any other AT from the longest range I can.

I use AT weapons as close to the enemy tank as possible to make sure I hit it where it hurts the most.
But I try to keep my soldier alive at the same time. Dying stupidly is anti climatic.

The sheer thought that tanks would have to worry about anything other than det packs OHKing them is totally unbalanced and unfair.

Seems like a waste of a bomber squad to me if my regular soldiers can do just fine with det packs in that situation.

I’m happy using my AT weapons to piss off tanks into blindly firing in my general direction or bailing in a panic because I took out a track, engine, or 1 crew member at long range.

A debilitated tank is a debilitated tank even before it explodes entirely.

Huh.
Wouod be too off topic.
In a ntushell its just my ooinion about the way how DF introduced Tunisgrad.

It pretty depends much on the AT weapon.
Boys is a nice anti-infanrty rifle and in Berlin you can never have enough Panzerfausts agaibst those dam T-34s (and infantry).

Actually Sturmpistolle has caliber 60mm and PIAT has 88mm

Sturmpistolle is too light for Normandy or tanks are just too heavy for that weapon. Sturmpistolle should be moved to Moscow where tanks are far lighter. Only T-50 could be problematic but that’s not a big deal

I’m saying that from experience because Sturmpistolle can only destroy M8 Scott without any problems because his armor is light enough and has placed ammo practically everywhere

the biggest problem is the reload time, if it reloaded quickly, even if it does little damage it could knock out any tank

create a special recoilless rifle class and a new squad for them. There should only be 1 of these squads in the whole tree so that the map isnt filled with shrecks and bazookas.

Reload time will change nothing, this weapon struggles with penetrating M5A1. Replace it with Panzerfaust and Sturmpistolle should be moved to Moscow or other campaign with LIGHT vehicles

AT gameplay on Normandy don’t exist. 50mm AT canon already has problems even with Stuart not to mention heavier tanks. It should be also replaced by heavier 75mm Pak40

change a lot instead even if you dont kill him, hit the tracks or the back with the sturmpistole damage the tanks, with lower reload time the wapon become less usless

Why would you place something in Moscow that was not developed in 1941? We could then place M16 in Normandy, same thing.

Dont forget the ak47 in berlin when the german have the stg44

Why there’s a Jumbo in Normandy even if it wasn’t here?
