After the recent 200 patch update many players told me and i saw myself too, how grenades, event TNT packs only rarely kill tanks now, even when perfectly placed on the tanks weak spots. their explosion power/penetration needs to be increased.
other explosions like rockets got nerfed too. now if the intention was to generally reduce explosion spam, gaijin can keep the reduced explosion power BUT increase the penetration power so infantry remains safe, but vehicles still can get dealt with.
Really? I have not had any issues. Which tanks are we talking about exactly?
I think the only reason anyone struggles to kill tanks with explosive packs now is because they were too used to the game auto throwing the pack when it was fully cooked.
You might be right, but those people would have been failing to kill tanks to begin with and would not notice a drop in success. OP is talking about people who used to kill tanks (meaning they likely cooked grenades) but now can not.
Only Tigers, Jumbo, T-34 and KV-1 are problematic to kill you need to change your tactic from just throwing it at the tracks and throw it at the back of the vehicle where you can find the engine or under the tank or 100% chance to kill by throwing it in front of a turret of kv-1, it’s even more riskier since you can’t quickly start cooking nades, so we got yet another buff to already too survivable tanks. Even weaker tanks like Panthers are much easier to survive demo packs most people don’t try to wait 4-5 secs to cook them and just throw them at random.
it’s not devs fault that 80% of Enlisted player population are human bots. Despite last video about marking enemies i don’t see much difference between before and after in usage of that feature, it’s usually just 1-3 players per team while rest just don’t care and goes for kills like it’s Cod TDM.
Yeah, same problem with the nerf here. Which is super annoying, 'cause if dont use TNT charges (super buggy and sometimes useless) the only item you have to destroy tanks (if you’re not a engi) are det charges. So now they can travel across the map without suffering really important damages.
Yes I have noticed the nerf on explosive pack too. I have just finished a match in Tunisia where I couldn’t destroy an Italian M14 tank with 3 explosive packs (the det packs only killed some of it’s crew member and put it’s engine on fire)
On the other hand, I have also encountered a bug? while using grenade pouch today. Whenever I press “5”, the first grenade show up in my hand would never be explosive pack (I have tried switching the explosive pack between the 1st and 2nd slot of the grenade pouch, but still the explosive pack always come after other types of grenade…)
Before this bug/nerf?, I always only had to press “5” once, then the explosive pack (which I had put it in the 1st slot) would be in my hand.
Maybe this is another hint that the Explosive pack is being nerfed lol.
It is a bit silly to be able to kill tanks with the explosive pack anyway, I dont know that is a bad thing, if it’s real, it’s not like there is a dirth of kit to kill tanks with, you know actual AT kit like Bazookas ATR’s AT Guns exc…
its very realistic if you place them on weak spots like underneath, exhaust area, motor grill etc. but enlisted doesnt have the weak spots coded into the game. in real life you could hack into many soviet tanks with an axe and throw in a random weak grenade and the tank is unusable (as even written in eastern front AT doctrine for infantry). having a tnt blow up tanks when thrown on a “good” area was the substitute for actually realistic tank coding. now that is gone and whats left are ridiculously unrealistic tanky tanks.
T50 is OP now since its very fast, good cannon, extreme amounts of ammo AND really good sloped armor on top of it. also buyable with a gold order at level 1 in the campaign. pure horror for new players
Nah, there’s definitely something funny going on with det packs. Heavy tanks seem to have a totally random behaviour of just eating them. A KT in berlin took 4 det packs on top of the turret, side hull and engine deck for no visible damage.
