Their cyber warfare teams are still hard at work. That or they hire some professionals to target companies that fund Russia’s army (hypothetically, I am not accusing Gaijin of funding a war in Ukraine).
We basically did get droned in internet terms, lol.
I doubt Ukraine is wasting any resources on this game or War Thunder

Yes, but if it is on a list of companies that (hypothetically) fund Russia’s army, then it is well worth the time and resources since they are currently on a massive retreat.
What you say maybe possibly true or not but overall I still think this game will be on the bottom of the list to attack as well as War Thunder we’re not exactly a high priority target

Of course, it wouldn’t be alone, but that is not what it is seen as.
It is seen as a conglomerate that (hypothetically) funds Russia’s Army. While they are low priority, it does not mean that won’t be attacked if they are on the list. They need as many distractions as possible at the moment.
I never understood DDoS attacks, not only are they illegal in many jurisdictions, but they cost a decent penny to operate. Makes you wonder who are behind the attacks and what their purpose is
not really. those who made ddos software use botnet for attacks (so free) and if someone wants to order ddos attack price starts at 10$ an hour or 35$ for a day.
well if you understand humans, you will understand ddos attacks. extortion, revenge, stupidity and numerous other reasons stand behind ddos.
iirc ddos attacks were popular in rainbow six scene when people were going to lose. instead of losing rank, they launched ddos on server, crashed server and made match not count.
now purpose behind attack is various, from some stupid perceived grievance to trying to extort some business, to something stupid like not wanting to lose rank…
