We just need a very early campaign, also it is one of major events in world war ii, so why not? i think i dont need to show further arguments, lot of players just want it.

Not a priority atm
After they are done with French nation + new maps like Ardennes (Battle of the Bulge),they could make early war Battle for Paris or late war liberation, Italian and Greece maps with new gear for both Italians and Allies, Dunkirk where you will be running away like pussies from German Panzers, then they could make your dream real.

I personally think they won’t ever do a French faction or even the Polish campaign or even the early war Western front campaigns at all
It’s much easier for them to start the Allied content in Tunisia where America and Britain first and finally linked up. Obviously the Eastern Front is easy because it’s cut and dry, Germany vs Soviets
But who knows
But I will say Premium, event, or special squads are certainly on the table

unfortunately i do agree with you…i would have loved early war campaign (especially french one) because amongst other reasons it has never been seen on video games. but now with the new system it is getting more and more difficult to do…they should have done it earlier,for example instead of Tunisia or Stalingrad. now it is nonsense to grind Germany fir the 4th time,and everybody would play french or polish just because of that.
