Legacy usually refers to squads that went off sale after the merge, this is not true for the type ko. If you mean it’s old then sure, I can’t argue with that and it is pretty obsolete, I wouldn’t mind if the Devs let players add a AT gunner or something similar.

I prefer if they make it like the US give it Radio Operator I love how the Allies squads are with a lot more effort the Assaulter squad has engineer and anti tank the engineer has radio operator … i mean how our squads are the worst xD

But the bare minimum for the max price is what Gaijin is all about

It would also do them good to add the 9cm Type 4 rocket launcher as a BR3 AT launcher.

I’d also like to see them do something with a 20 Round Type Hei Automatic, or possibly 10 rounds if the magazines are interchangeable but really I have no idea if that’s a real thing or not.

I have given really the absolute minimum

Play the event a bit and you will realize how bad Japanese vehicles and semi autos are but I guess im Japanese Bias xD

Specially compare the ground attackers the Soviet one can bully even the Zero that cant do much against it while the Japanese is a free kill xD

they exist variants of same weapon: All versions of Type Ko, Type Hei, Type Otsu rifles

Please read what I’ve said throughout this thread. Because if you had you’d know that I was arguing that another version of the type ko should be added (like the long version). Whilst life_burns was arguing to make the type ko standard version (the one in the premium squad) a tech tree unlock and make the type ko squad a collectible like the Johnson squad.

Yes and to me it doesn’t matter what the solution will be as long as it doesn’t get in the way of faction building and the devs made very poor designs on Japanese premiums squads. All the Japanese premiums are very bad take vehicles and guns that should be in TT and some like this engineer squad and Chi-He use things that are needed in the tech tree and they are bad as premiums anyway . They have fixed a bit the Assaulter that was nice ,the Apc is ok Chi-Ha is ok ,paratroopers and the motorcycle are ok but everything else is just bad. So the devs better fix the faction equipment and later make premiums otherwise we will end up with not enough faction equipment in the TT.

Japan used a lot of them and its funny how Allies have their ground attackers while Japan has no ground attackers with cannons. The Ki-45-Hei and Ki-45 otsu will be good ground attackers but they dont have much ammo so they will require some trigger control. Compared to the Su-2 that the soviets have I realized how bad are Japanese ground attackers even on early brs xD

Yep. I also think that it would be very nice if the Kikka was made a ground attacker, so they have one for high BRs.

I would honestly prefer scoped MGs to go to the sniper class to give them viable options after rank 2 and also make this nation more unique. The scoped MGs were actually mass produced, while these semi auto sniper rifles are hypothetical to say the least, few rifles were produced, and we don’t even have a single pic of a scope being mounted on one of those. I know that most of these had a rail to be able to mount a scope on them, but I would prefer to put mass produced weapons in the tree first, and introduce prototypes to plug the holes in the tree when there is no other viable option (and I think that japanese scoped MGs are a viable option). But please note that I am not against introducing these rifles to the game, far from it.

Well I dont know how its so hard to make the Type 96 scope work we literally had it in game … but I guess we need to wait another 5 years to get type 96 and 99 with a scope xD

True, I had never heard that excuse before, lol, like: “nuh-uh, a working scope is too hard to make”. Like, BRUH, work harder or something, I dunno, lmao (it’s a joke, pls devs, don’t ban or blacklist me). It’s exactly like the customizable payloads and MG belts for planes, or adjustable shell numbers and types for tanks, and also the hull MGs for tanks, all of this should be in the game, but they are not atm, and we have zero idea if they will be implemented one day.
