I have around 10-12 IRl friends who love War Thunder and Enlisted, but we’re having a really hard time committing to Enlisted. We’ve got an Org as well and most of us say the same thing.
“Why do we get a server on WT but not Enlisted”.
We want to give you money, I’d gladly whale on Enlisted. But so long as we seemingly get punished for no reason, we won’t spend any.
Give us a server in the Philipines, Aus, Taiwan/Hong Kong etc. Anywhere that region can enjoy the game. They’re not expensive to run and you would make absolute bank.
PS: If this topic has been made before, and gotten an answer/update please link it to me as well.
I want to enjoy this game with under 200 ping, I really, really do.

An Asianserver is absolutely missing. Keeps chinese people out of the european servers.

^That’s another good point. Two servers would be crucial, Hong Kong and Australian. Would cover the entire region. I’d even settle for cheap 32hz servers etc.

It will come down to subscription numbers. Wargaming had enough subscribers to open up SEA servers, so chances are that as Enlisted gets “polished up”, it will attract more players and increase the chance for an SEA server.
We’ll there is more then enough for their server in Australia (they even have an office there).
Yet they’ve simply not added it to Enlisted, I think adding one would actually bring lots of subscribers. I know i’d buy the MG squad if I could use the MG without lagging. Right now I am stuck to vehicles and engineer.
I’m a SEA player on all three servers (Though somehow I keep getting into #1 leaderboard despite the fact the ping means delayed kills and flamethrowers being unusable), and I can guarantee that although SEA server is necessary, you’ll be flooded with Mainland Chinese players who probably would spam VPN if they get region blocked and generally terrorize the game with cheats and hacks just like they did with PUBG and other games; It’s not even ‘racist’ or ‘discriminatory’. It’s just facts.
It would invite more trouble for Darkflow and the forum in general. “If you ban chinese cheaters, you are racist against Asian”. If you think Allies players screaming as they have a stroke over Axis battling them in a balanced match is bad, then get ready for chaos. Mainland have online stores like Ebay/Amazon where they can sell ‘legal’ cheats for games like Escape from Tarkov and other games, basically sellers are competing to get the best hack 101 whatsoever so people buy their shit.
I’d say go for it, just prepare for the chaos that will follow. Probably BFV aimbot level. Darkflow might be able to keep the numbers down, but those numbers will still inevitably exist, and any of you might be the unfortunate fellow to encounter them.
Dude, I live in Taiwan and play in competitive Valorant (Pro tournaments and High immortal/radient). I think you’re underestimating the benefit of having a Hong Kong server, they all go there instead.
I play on the Japanese/Phili/Aus Servers and have legit never seen a hacker.
They all flood the HK servers. It’s far less effort and they get what they want out of it.
By restricting an entire region (which includes everyone from NZ to Taiwan) only to isolate 1 country, is very stupid.
They exist anyways, with VPNs they go to every server just as easy as anyone else.
Squad, COD etc all the SEA servers rarely have Chinese cheaters, because they get their own servers to harrass.

…Actually that’s a good idea. Give them Hong Kong Server and just give like Singapore or Japan for SEA server, which… should do the trick.
I don’t think we need to worry about dividing the already dwindling playerbase. Lmao.
