Sd.Kfz. 234/4 "Pakwagen" - Mobile Anti-Tank 8 wheeler

Add the Sd.Kfz. 234/4 “Pakwagen” to Enlisted as a new mobile anti-tank vehicle. This German armored 8 wheeler, equipped with a powerful 75mm PaK 40 anti-tank gun, would serve as a versatile and mobile anti-tank support vehicle. With decent frontal armor and a moderately fast speed for its class, it would allow players to engage enemy tanks and armored vehicles from a safe distance while maintaining maneuverability. It has fully wheeled axles and doesn’t rely on tracks like a traditional half-track vehicle. Its unique role would offer new tactical opportunities for players looking to counter tanks on the move.

It could be implemented as an event item or on the elite battle pass.

Well… I don’t really have to disappoint but… there is already a 75mm armed Puma in the game.

Yes I know it has the short 75, not the long one but still it’s there… and I don’t think I have seen one since the end of the event it was introduced.

Don’t get me wrong, I am not against the Pakwagen being added, but it will suffer the same problems that affects it’s shorter brother. It’s a wheeled vehicle, with a fixed gun, aiming the gun is terrible because you need to move the entire tank, which is even more terrible because the vehicle is wheeled and thus has a humongous turning radius. The cherry on top is that the vehicle is open top with almost no armor, making it extremely sensitive to Molotov, Bombs, planes’s cannon, artillery…

The 234/3 is not fun to play because of that. The pakwagen, even if it is BR2 (which seems unlikely because of its gun), would be a pain to play imo.

That’s only my opinion, and again, I am not against it but I think people would be disappointed playing this vehicle (even more so if that thing ends up being a premium)

You have a fair point but knowing these flaws is the key. Those vehicles can be used wisely but yes they are very vulnerable but pack a great punch. Id like to see it in the game would be a nice addition but you have a point. Its more knowing your weakness and being smart with it.

Dude I absolutely love the Event Puma with the Short 75 w/ MG 42 and I play very well with it. You just have to know how to use it right and it’ll be extremely deadly. It’s almost OP for br2 :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:(although this is a bit of a stretch due to what you said about lack of armor, open-top, etc.)

Well, I must admit I am impressed !

I played it once running around at very high speed, which was fun. But moving the gun was terrible and I felt that playing a normal tank like the Pz III N/M was more useful / efficient

Though not everything has to be like this and it is still interesting to have original or at least different kind of gameplay for such items.

I tend to care more about historical fun than meta fun.

Are open topped vehicles easy prey, yes, but I play as them because they’re part of the largest war of all history. Just like tank destroyers.

To me it doesn’t matter whether somethings the best of the best, just that I’m playing as a historical vehicle
