I decided to create the GOSC - Gold Orders Saving Comittee, since right now we have a lot of people who are rooting for the gold orders to stay, however I feel like we lack unity in our actions. This committee, which will help us in the fight for Gold Orders (at least it should). I also wrote a manifesto for the GOSC and I’ve created the BGO, the Brotherhood of Gold Orders.
Dear forum users! In the hour of distress and uncertainty we must decide the fate of both our game and forum.
Our game is going through bad times, as the developers are removing the system of Gold Orders.
Right now the forum is in a state of struggle between the forces of preserving Gold Orders, the forces of justice and the forces of anti-Gold Orders movement, supporting the developers.
We can’t just sit around doing nothing and watching the developers remove Gold Orders and ignore us.
Anti-Gold Orders movement and developers are saying that removal of gold orders in a long run will help the player-base and that their goals are noble, although their true goal is greed and desire to make more micro transactions and have more paid content. By their decision (on removal gold orders), they are forcibly imposing and taking away the freedom of choice from players.
A while ago they could still tell us that it will benefit us, however after 5 postponements and after this event, which clearly showed the attitude of developers to players, we have no doubts. Withdrawing Gold Orders is a mistake.
However this is not the fault of all forum members, we fought as hard as we could, and the Russian and English forum created topics in support of the salvation of Gold Orders. But the struggle is still going, since the developers want to take away our freedom, impose unnecessary battle pass rewards on us, take away our ability to get weapons from Battle Pass without spending money. They tried to shut the mouths of dissatisfied and resorted to simply banning them from the forum. For examle our comrade @FNFAL2017 (famous Russian forumer) was banned for speaking out against removal of gold orders.
All this is backed up by statements about the good for the players, about the good for the game, but this “good” is not visible. In the days of the Keofox it was much better, we had news about game and development. More events, more rewards, the attitude to players was also better. Furthermore now things are getting worse and worse.
Many forumers have lost faith in the game, since the forum on which they can speak out do not influence anything, except maybe getting back statements from Community Managers without any real answers. When players see it, they fell ignored… abandoned, they see that developers’ are reluctant to listen to their players.
On this basis, the movement to save Gold Orders is organizing the Gold Orders Saving Comittee to better organize the fight for Gold Orders and increase cohesion
The purpose of Gold Orders Saving Comittee is to:
- Preservation of the Gold Orders in any form, but preferably in the form that the players themselves have repeatedly suggested. There are many alternative systems, the choice is wide. Preserving the Gold Orders is the main goal.
- Prevent the game from sliding further into Pay to Win
The Gold Orders Saving Comittee is against the removal of Gold Orders and the further movement of the game towards Pay to Win, we want to avoid this because we believe that this is not the way Enlisted should go. What does Pay to Win manifest itself in? For example, it manifests itself in the Halloween Event “Operation “Earth Shield”, in which most of the rewards could only be obtained by paid content only.
Also the leaderboard of this event was heavily influenced by the “pay2win” mechanic of buying syringes, people who bought them in bulk had better chances of surviving and getting into leaderboards.
The new Battle Pass also could be considered Pay to Win, because while previously players could get a free Gold Orders in a Battle Pass or get a free Gold Orders in an event and buy a Battle Pass Weapon with it, now the only way you can get a Battle Pass Weapon is by buying the Battle Pass itself, i.e. by buying pay-walled content.
The following principles will form the basis of the new forum:
-Reviewing all bans and unbanning those who have been unjustly banned.
-Saving Gold Orders and the Battle Pass store, refusing to remove them, and adopting one of the suggested alternatives to the Battle Pass systems.
The movement of Gold Orders Saving is not just a movement for Gold Orders. It is a movement for justice and freedom, for the further development of our game, since we want the best for it.
The Gold Orders Saving Comittee believes that the main condition for victory and preservation of Gold Orders is the unity of players and the amount of people in our movement. Popularity, so to speak, is what we need. With our fight we have taken responsibility. Dear forum members, only with unity and determination will this battle for the Gold Orders be won. By helping us, you help the game, because our goal is to make the game better.
