A new person who could have stayed and joined this community but now has unfortunately left
Man if I was a dev reading that post I would leave the game exactly as it is just to spite those kinds of people. Leaving dramatic ass essays on how “I tried to love this game, I really did…” and “I tried to help the game, steer it in a positive direction…” Man, nobody gives a FUCK about you leaving a game. It’s a fucking video-game. If he really needed to get it out of his system all of that shit could’ve been summed up in 2 sentences instead of this long ass novel about his journey of discovering Hell Divers.
I’m glad to see we don’t plan to retain any players at all and give people more reasons to leave this game
how exactly do you retain someone who says: hey game sucks, devs didnt do anything in whole month that i have been on forum based on my feedback, i am gone cause helldivers 2 is better game?
Try looking at the bright side of some of the things in this game instead of just more negativity
will that fix his issues with the game? ffs he doesnt want to grind and DF doesnt want to lower the grind for free players.
I didn’t say anything about grinding and I was more hinting at customs and things like that.
But when it comes to grinding we need a functional BR1 sanctuary to protect our new bloods
That’s not the point of my comment. Point was, people become too emotionally attached to a piece of media. A piece of entertainment. Then they leave these cringy comments on forums like these and expect people to take them seriously. Ofc I want the game to grow, and all of his criticisms were valid. The way he delivered them though just reeks of cringy, no-life bullshit. He’s describing it as though he’s been feeding a pack of refugee children all on his own in the name of good, all in vain… Its a fucking game
It is a game but we want to invite as many people as possible into this game and not lose them because since it’s just the game people can easily move on and find another game and this game is gonna eventually die at this rate.
So overall stop spreading so much poison around when new players even dare to comment and they may have played this game for a little bit but it doesn’t mean that voice is any less valid.
That is true in some cases but it doesn’t mean we can’t make this community more friendly to people when they make a suggestion.
The emotions they show when they’re commenting shows they have a lot of hope for this game and they don’t want it to die.
That’s a responsibility of the devs/publishers. I’m not going out there holding up a sign “Install Enlisted today!” not for free anyway… And I honestly can’t, in good conscience, reccommend this game to anyone except maybe War Thunder players because they are the only ones that know what F2P grind hell is like. It’s up to the devs to fix the game so that it may thrive.
Their voices are just as valid as any other person’s, but the emotionally charged words they choose to strain their voices on are not
