Rifle Grenade Launchers

Some countries had multiple grenades for their rifle grenade launchers. For example the Garand’s M7 and M1’s M8 launcher could use a HE, AT, or smoke grenade. Every rifle grenade launcher should be added as an individual weapon

This gives us choices and variety for what kind of rifle grenade launcher we want to use in battle to support the team. It adds versatility to rifle grenades

Axis:

In game two German Grenade Launchers are incorrect. The Kar98k and FG 42 with Schiessbecher are firing an AT grenade, the Gross-Panzergranate, that is acting like a frag grenade.

They could either change both the Kar98k and FG 42 to the correct Gewehr-Sprenggranate HE model or make them function properly as the AT grenades they are with penetration. Then add the missing variant

The penetration of Germany’s AT rifle grenades
Gewehr-Panzergranate 25mm
Gross-Panzergranate 70mm
Hollow Charge similar to Panzergranate 61
Gross-Panzergranate 46 90mm
Gross Panzergranate 61 130mm

Today I came across a photo of an M3 with a grenade launcher. Maybe someone knows if this is a modification of the M3 after the war?

I also know for sure that grenade launchers were being developed for the MP 3008.

Otherwise, good job!

Wow, this book is awesome, I didn’t know such a specialized book existed. Basically all the infos the devs need to know about japanese rifle grenades and their launchers are inside it. This is a very useful find right there.

A grenade launching STG would be not fun to play against, especially in an AR engi squad. Still tho interesting it could mount GLs.

I have already seen this pic, but yeah, the Kulakov would be a nightmare ingame.

That’s why I think they should make the animations more realistic with rifle grenades by loading a blank or wooden bullet before firing the grenade, that would “nerf” the fire rate of the grenade launcher and it would also be more realistic.

yeah, I know, same for the phosporus or the japan prototypes with bigger explossive ammo xD

I’m gonna bust
