alright to start off for new players, you giving them a pile of crumbs cuz the money you give them might be sufficient for the first 10 seconds but after that, you’ll be begging for scraps of silver, even a tiny bit. I will now introduce my suggestions:
1st: increase silver gain
yeah this has been hot topic but i have a different look on it. The silver gain will be increased for battles, BUT the prices of new equipment will get more expensive. HOWEVER, after you buy the equipment for the first time, you get 5 for free and if you want to buy more its at a heavily discounted price. This should go for all guns, bags, and mines.
2nd: premium stuff
now premium stuff is overpriced and thats obvious. Now the big message is that enlisted players will not all be war thunder players, willing to spend so many dollars on a game that just gives you pain and suffering. As a war thunder player, i should know (im f2p on both but uh) but enlisted feels fresh and fun, and i think right now if it was improved it would probably be better then war thunder. enlisted players look for a fun game, not a grindy one to put pain on themselves.
so basically these things cost too much (like 50 dollars for a squad u kidding me like wtf)
In addition, i think certain things like paratroopers that are basically just locked behind premium unless you played a event a long time ago should be in the tech tree.
3rd: squads upgrades and stuff
i dont have a lot to say here but i think that if you have a infantry squad and are done upgrading it, you would probably think that all the upgrade points you still get after you are done upgrading are useless, which leads to my suggestion to put all the excess points and you can put them into another squad of the same class in the same faction for like 500 silver or smth. In addition i made the fatal mistake of not using the engineer class and upgrading it more when i started so i kinda want this mechanic to build at guns and stuff
I definitely agree with your second point premium squads are overpriced making a lot of people hesitant to purchase them. The system where you can try them out is great but with some squads you can’t see their full effectiveness because they’re missing an engineer, or other related things that cannot be immediately seen until you purchase them. So I think a more clear-cut “This is what’s offered” is a bare minimum necessity, As an added bonus I would reduce some of the squads by 10-20% depending on how overpriced they are. This way developer and player can get their money and squad use out of it.
As for your first point, I do agree that the initial weapon just unlocked should give more than one Even if it’s x2 the price for 3 of that piece of equipment and then it regular price for every item thereafter. This would exclude things that are not weapons such as backpacks, grenades, etc.
One thing that could be introduced is first time purchase bundles in the case of binoculars, AT mines, AP mines, flasks, etc. This bundle would give you four or five of them for 50-60% of the cost it would cost to get all of them. Going to normal price after that, This would span across each faction individually. Just to kind of get someone started.
SIlver should be increased soon, until then I just set up a low cost set of squads and hoard a bunch and then make a good loadout. Not only should the gain be increased but some prices need decreased significantly
The premium is overpriced most of the time. I buy things only when they’re on sale, so the current price can stay as it is IF they increase the number of sales. This way the whales can buy everything they want immediately and the people who actually have things to do with their life can buy when convenient.
The squad upgrades need overhauled in general badly, my bomber should go into battle with no back gunner for 50+ battles because I don’t have enough exp,.
Yeah old endgame squads being in the middle of the tree and seemingly arbitrarily needing infinite amounts of XP to level up compared to the beginner unit that came right before it
