You mind are still 10 years ago? I remember I mange to run call of duty black ops with a Celeron cpu computer few years ago.
You can’t buy a decent computer until you work. And at age 18 the jobs you get at most will pay you $251.20. If you have to pay for school and food, things get worse. Tell me, do you think that someone who earns 250 dollars a month has as a priority to buy a computer?
well i was just talking that testing integrated gpu is pointless. even with most modern igpu you will see shit performance in most 3d games that were released in last 6-7 years. at least with some budget gpu even from 10 years ago you could run games better than most modern igpu.
In short: the first computers people get from underdeveloped countries are office computers given by their parents. Many of them are people who still do not fully trust buying on the internet. Therefore, they look for more classic media. Like buying in a computer store or at the flea market. The computers sold in those places… I guess you can imagine. Then when you grow up, you have to get a job and study. With college expenses and other things, it’s not a priority to buy a computer to play.
This is the reality of many people. I personally lived it, and so did my friends.
So yes, there are people who use these shitty computers to look for a little fun. Not everyone has the opportunity to have a 3060. Is there anything wrong with that?
you can easily upgrade office computers with used gpu. only if you have office laptop without dedicated gpu there is a problem. people with integrated gpus cant expect to play almost any modern 3d game that came out in last 5 years.
OP just wanted to test the potential of the new bare minimum graphic setting.
Dev just done the thing that can’t be expected. You have problem with it?
they didnt do anything unexpected. they just optimized graphics and managed to get support for some older computers. this is normal process of game development. you always start with really high end specs at start of the game dev (for 3d games), then you slowly optimize so it can include wide variety of gpu-s.
Since you said people can’t expect this, I am just using your words.
i said they cant expect to play with integrated graphics… and if you see those 8 fps i am right… even 30 average fps is unplayable for FPS.
Again. As I stated, I understand.
But, I wouldn’t even consider gaming certain games if my computer wasn’t enough for the task.
Because that is a super bad integrated graphic. If you use stuff like uhd 620 it performs way better than it.
First world problem.
But it is. 30 fps is Srs a bad experience on a fast paced game.
If you get used to higher FPS, you will say it is bad. It is far from unplayable.
Moreover, You have multiple soldier to choose in Enlisted, so even if you die you can just use another soldier.
Nah I remember when I was a kid when I got a pentium like in the 90s and I tryed to run games that I didn’t had gpu for it I would have massive headaches from it.
Or, even in 2010s or so trying to run games that i knowbefor hand my rig wasn’t capable of doing. So I avoided said games and played games that my rig was. Capable and had fun either way.
This said, if pc can’t run at a playable state, 30 or less fps isn’t for me and shouldn’t be for no one.
average fps is just that average. if you have average 30fps you can expect lag spikes that get you to below 10 fps and that is what kills the game. so it becomes unplayable. and even if you had constant 30fps without lag spikes it would be relatively bad experience for FPS. for some slow paced game 30fps is ok.
I am running 30 fps on average and my fps rarely below 20.
People that are not used to higher fps will think it is fine.
I don’t know what you mean here. Dev have now introduce a mode to let it be playable. So there is no problem of
Enlisted starts the race to become the new Doom and run on anything that physically has a display.
I doubt it Doom can work on a washingmachine and a fridge
