i think a better solution is to allow you to add your own equipment to the paratrooper boxes to replace the premium weapons with once you land
the guerillas can already swap weapons, the free versions at least, so i dont think its as important

the paratrooper box mechanic has been set up, and there is an urgent desire to change the initial weapons of paratroopers and guerrillas to deal with higher BR battles, which is especially important for paying players like me, where free squads are just a better game cycle
I want to buy a premium squad, but I just can’t bring myself to buying one, considering most cost like A$55.00. Most other game DLCs top out at A$20.00, which is less than half the price.
In comparison, buying 2 slots for each faction, at half price, would only cost me A$30.00
You can wait for the next discount to buy

All premium squads should be able to be equipped with tt weapons. The devs lose nothing in it and it only allows for more variety. It could even boost squad sales since people might buy squads just for the clothes even if the gun is shitty

I’ve been calling for this for a long time. It makes no sense for Gaijin to offer a Soviet paratrooper squad with changeable weapons, and no other faction. IMOP every squad that a player actually pays money for should have changeable weapons. Even if the Dev’s want to lock the premium squads “unique” weapons to the premium squad so it can’t be used in other squads, I would be fine with equipping my premium squads with tech tree weapons, but if we pay for it, we should have some choices.

I don’t think it will be possible to change weapons for all high-level squads, but if it is a special mechanism of paratroopers and guerrillas, I think it can be done, the G41 squad a while ago, can change weapons by itself, but it is immediately removed from the shelves and replaced with something else
I want to do this too, but the official will not do it, so it is not conducive to him selling other squads to make money

This…IMOP the Dev’s are making less money then they could if they offered their premium squads with full interchangeable weapons. I regret buying a lot of the squads I have because I simply can’t use them as I have better tech tree or other premium squads, so, they sit their as a wasted investment. If I could however have changed weapons, most of them could find a new home on a different BR level. But the Dev’s apparently can’t seem to see past their nose. I am far more picky about premium squads now then I used to be, so, if they want me to have a loose bank account again, they need to make changes. 
Hell, I’d damn near give half a dozen of the premium squads I bought over the years away since they are worthless to me with the weapons they possess. The only way to convince the Dev’s to unlock the weapons is staying on top of them about it.
