Let’s be honest. The Grant is way better than the Semovente. But I’m down for improving the Semovente. Faster Reload, Roof MG, HE rounds.

Not significantly better. Its tall profile makes it a good target for a low profile tank like axis has.
I literally just got done and had 14v kills in ‘bad tank must nerf/replace’

Hide in between other burned out tanks. They can’t get a good attack anyle on you do to their height. You always see them first. Not a fallacy. Learn to position and how to aim.

No. It’s a falacy to use one match and tactics to argue about whether one tank is objectively better than the other one. I’ve had many matches with many kills. Those were largely against A13s. The question is not “can the semovente perform”. Of course it can. The question is, which vehicle is better. The Grant has Machine guns, Semovente no. The Grant has two main guns capable of penetrating the Semovente, the semovente one gun only. The Grant has a faster reload rate on the 37. The Grant has better Armor. The Grant has more crew. The Grant has better mobility. The Grant has a turret, the Semovente doesn’t. The Grant is all around a better tank than the Semovente. When you factor in it’s ability to counter infantry with a Turret and MG’s and a fast firing 37 it isn’t even close as to which is the objectively better tank. You point out how the grant is taller, I’ll acknowledge that, but since the windows you can actually pen with the semovente are collectively pretty small, that doesn’t matter much.

I’ve already given up, let these ignorant people play at a disadvantage. Those who play on the Allied side don’t care that Grant I is much better. I’m leaving Tunisia for the time being.
