it’s not hard to match 1 x 4 squad against annother 1 x 4 squad on the enemy team and fill the rest with solo
matching squads only against squads + having only squads in the battle on each sides and I am sure about this would cause in way much longer waiting time for these players. And I don’t see a reason why they should be “punished” for playing a team based game together.
I agree that MM needs an improvement but we will probably not reach an agreement on this point - nevertheless it’s ok. I accept yur opinion
again solos should not be in stack queue. also it is pretty hard to match 1x4 stack against the other 1x4 stack if there are no stack currently in queue for enemy nation. game doesnt have big playerbase and it is divided by 3 servers and further into 4 nations across 5 BR.
i dont see reason why solos should be punished by playing against coordinated team. other games for a reason have solo queues or team queues that are totally separate.
Enlisted announced in one of the “roadmap” articles that they focus that if one team has a squad, then the other side will get one aswell.
Every player should be aware that when playing Enlisted, which is a team-based game, they will not only be playing against other solo players, but also against squads. Same like in any other game
only thing mentiones was reworking rules for groups, not both teams having same amount of stacks.
like i mentioned it is impossible to guarantee number of stacks in queue for server/faction/BR, neither is possible to guarantee their size.
please tell me what other game has solo players matched against squads? you probably think about CS or valorant where you will end up in team with approx your skill level and with full team communication and enlisted has neither of those.
There IMOP, needs to be a button you can check “BEFORE” you click the “START” button where you can “CHOOSE” to “ONLY” play “OTHER SOLO” players. It wouldn’t be complicated, and those solo players who do not care, or want to play against groups can just ignore it and click start. Me, personally, as a person who always plays solo would choose solo only, even if I have to wait longer for a game to materialize. However, I think a lot of solo players would choose it if offered. Personally I think this would lead to less seal clubbings.
I’d be okay with the idea of a penalty for intentionally disconnecting if:
The penalty only applies if a player leaves after the match has started and players spawn in
The game allowed players to join in-progress matches (why isn’t this a feature already?)
There was an actual map preference system that allows you to veto maps/game mode(s)
It also doesn’t help that the penalty really only punishes newer players who don’t have tons of silver and rp saved up. I couldn’t care less about a -20% penalty for 2 matches, I’d rather take the hit than suffer through a third round of Tractor Plant (Conquest) for 20 minutes
Yeah, not punishing systematic desertion was definitely game being broken.
I am so happy they’re continue to improve on very important problem such this one.
And it’s not our problems that people that are not respecting MM are getting punished while trying to bypass it. It’s well deserved.
Now they need to make desertion to count towards non-win, meaning actually lowering your win rate in statistics. That’s important thing to fix as well.
Now they need to implement desertion penalty that’s actually stops deserters from continuesly deserting matches by not allowing them to enter new match as long as the previous one is ongoing.
That’s what they need to do. It would solve most of the problems.
didnt helped with bugs , map bad physics , connection loss for no reason , the game crashing randomly , and theres still deserters there , you really stupidity at this moment instead to think and see whats the players problem why they are deserting they have own reasons by game fault
