Removal of a terrible map

Should I tell him that the whole war was a crime against humanity?

Did they really scrap that one map? I think that was the one where all the capture points were just giant camper holes in the ground right? Maybe they should just scrap confrontation and conquest all together.

On a serious note - the map itself is far from terrible.

It has cliffs, many buildings but also wide open areas.

The literally ONLY issue the map has is that the objectives are down in the tunnels.

The tunnels should work as optional flanking routes, and the objectives should be on the surface, which would 100% fix the map.

If you have two equally matched opponents, the defender pretty much wins all the time when I play.

I also donā€™t hate it its not that bad there is many worse maps then that like The Reich Chancellery or Hermann Goering Strasse, Wilhelmstrasse then Ver-sur-Mer, D-Dayā€¦ its basically heavy tank spam but Ver-sur-Mer and D-Day are a bit better cuz at least you can kill heavy tanks with planes on The Reich Chancellery or Hermann Goering Strasse or Wilhelmstrasse its King Tiger spam fest ā€¦ literally the worst maps to play

it the one map that make flanking kinda important and i like it ngl of course it have it problem but i would say it better than stalingrad map by a mile (those map barely have cover and most point are super open perfect for sniper and tank

there is something called AT troops that carry bazookas.
and stuff like
you only need to get the distance right. :smirk:

and you have at canons too.

Thatā€™s kinda a problem, when pretty much all objectives are like that :man_shrugging:

exactly, its such a shame, there are some ruins, big buildings and compounds on that map, but still every single objective is down in the tunnels.

Oh yeah true - I almost forgot about that one , well probably because it being a normal good part of the map you forget that you even are playing on the same mapā€¦

that one is fine, just needs grayzone fixes
tons of maps are awful because of completely insane grayzone that cuts you off from securing crucial positions and just funnels you into killing fieldsā€¦for no reason

Like that berlin river crossing map on 2nd point
Enemies have perfect rally spots protected by grayzone, you canā€™t actually get to any position that gives you a decent overlook over the field and you have to run diagonally in the open while being shot from like 5 diffrerent directions

fellow person of culture
I loved 1hr+ confrontation matches on that map

Berlin maps are the definition of horrible

berlin is better than stalingrad tbh unless it the open section then it the same as stalingrad

AT cannons cant pen panthers from the front and you cant flank due to map design.

LOL How far do you think bazookas can shoot??

Youd need to again cross the entire map (not getting shot by an enemy that can see everything), then try and get them in the side. But again, theyre in the greyzone. Especially if they are a fair way back, you cant get them in the side.

Why go through all this BS when they could just fix the stupid map??

i have no problems in that map
maybe is because i play low brs.

I suppose if youre dealing with panzer IIs and M2A4s then yeah it would be less of a problem. My point still stands though.
