250lb bombs (and the American HVAR rockets which are nearly just as good) are already a problem regardless of what side is dropping it, and are fundamentally incompatible with the play spaces and map design (everything being within a few hundred meters of each other). Could you imagine what an even bigger bomb would do like the 2000lb mentioned in this thread? Good grief it would nuke the entire map.
The planes themselves on the other hand are also weird and kind of messed up. I donāt know whats going on with them (I remember emptying my entire MG ammo load into a plane with over 50% hit markers and they flew away like it was nothing) but something aint right.
Also, if I had a dollar for every time people complained about āGerman mainsā or āGerman OPā on here or projecting with āGerman mains keep complaining about Americans being OPāā¦
Forgot to say it was the MGs on a plane (BF-109) I was flying, not shooting from the ground with an infantry MG.

Alies have 2 500ks first bomber 2nd has 4 I dont know what other has but they all have guns. The Germen JU188 only has 6 250k bombs no guns and easly shot down cause it has no defence crew. At least the Stuka Ju88 had guns even if it dont have the rear guner crew mate. Thats what im saying no gun crews for the bombers even the Germen plan with rockets is suposed to have 2 crew mates. I asume the IL2 also should have a rear gunner I only play Germen on Normandy so I dont know what others have. Also Look at my scren shots I posted.

All the US bombs are in lb, not kg. The plane with bombs are P-51(100lb x 2, which is a joke), A20(500lb x 4) and P-47(500lb x 1). Also, if you are on any plane other then the 188 and got shot down by the A-20, itās your problem as the A-20 handles like a flying dump truck.

The isue is in the plain above as you can see its armed. yet cant do noting except try to ram other plains thats the jokeā¦WTHā¦ As for AA enless your a enginear crew you cant make AAs. and they only have 40 rounds cant even re load more. so Alies always have air supurioty over this one
ya know my fw gets shot down by A10s FW is suposed to be manurvable and not handle like the bombers do. hell I cant even trun on one. And ya I can unload my guns in to a p51 and have to reload 3 times. all the other alies kill it with one go. even the 109s. The only one that realy kills plans and tanks is the 1st one ya get.

Has any one spun out of control for no reason in FW so far I have 2 times now.
Bombers are relatively balanced as is, since the bomb nerf- er, bomb explosion pattern update. You canāt hit what you canāt see, people barely mark anything for you to bomb, and a lot if not most of the objectives are indoors or otherwise covered. You can get a lot of kills in a single bomb run, situational depending on map/objective, and you can kill tanks, which depends on player skill at dropping bombs accurately and isnāt guaranteed. Would be nice to have defensive guns operable though, being in a bomber chased by a fighter is firmly unfun.
Could nerf the speed an maneuverability on the ILs, too. Thereās just no damn reason that the IL should be a stalinium UFO while the P-47 is a barely maneuverable brick that only approaches itās max speed in a vertical dive.
Indeed - no multiple crews on any aircraft - so the SB2 for the Soviets in Moscow also has no guns - it and hte Ju-188 are the only aircraft that have no guns at all.
But the various other āstrikeā and bomber aircraft all have fixed forward firing guns at least.

Not that small numbers of flexible guns are much of a deterrrant, but htey are something.
I mean compaired to the Alies witch are armed to the teath and can blow the hell out of the Germens. 109 or a FW with a 110 or the JU188 dont even have the fier power the alie fighter and attack plans have. Also the 109 and FW trun like crap to can just barly trun to get the A10. I dont get why Gigin made the plains so crap compaierd to war blunder
The FW and 109 have plenty of firepower and are plenty maneuverable - if you arenāt shooting down the allied planes with them then you need some practice is all.
fw - bugged. He turns worse than bf 110 and his guns shoot by themselves. This is one of the worst fighters.
In addition, its controls are super sensitive and the flight model is broken.
You have not played it and have no idea how terrible it is, which is why almost no one uses it. Open the forum and find 20+ topics about how crap he is

And ya we cant trun worth a dam and when we go back for ammo we are barly faster them the 110. And get shot from the p38s wich seem to fly way faster
