I’m ok with the WAR, I own four of them but I don’t use any of them as I like the BAR A2 better. I also like the Mkb 35, but with it’s slow firing rate I would like it better as a semi auto. It’s another gun I like, own four, but don’t use. However, I can always add another to my weaopns collecting dust department. 
However, they are good for events so I am not complaining.

Honestly surprised they had meaningful quantities of ammo on hand post war for that, unless they were operating a series of guns of the same type?
Pretty sure “HEAT-FS” (fin-stabilized) was not a thing until the cold war.
It’s a minor issue but the Alecto should have HEAT, not HEATFS :

If HEAT is better than this junk, it should be replaced.
I’m pretty sure this is just a typo. It should not affect the ammo performance ingame
HEATFS is just a standard HEAT shell but with added Fin to stabilized the shell mid-air. It’s a pretty common thing for modern tanks as they use smoothbore guns instead of rifled guns.
But yeah the Alecto feels kinda bad, in the same way as the short barrelled puma. They are not great but interesting collector’s items

Atleast the short barreled Puma is pretty much useful anywhere at BR2 but using Alecto just feels bad
It is definitely not bad, just its heats sucks. But they’re bad in WT as well.

Tbf its HE shell is underperforming as well. Its exactly equal to a 75mm HE shell at the cost of, casemate and completely open top.
I think it wouod be cool to instead issue it some WP rounds
