Yeah historically it should have been the BI added instead of the Su-9, that would be the in timeframe choice.

Why do you give us another BR II spitfire really can you not give it a bomb and move it to BR V ?
It simply wont fit BR II since the plane is too good to be BR II.

Actually, some Spitfires were used in ground attack roles and fitted with bombs and/or rockets, particularly in the latter stages of the war.
