No weapon should be artificially weakened to suit “balance”. However, powerful and exotic stuff needs to be limited in quantity. The system needs to be flexible too, which is impossible within the current class / weapon / squad framework.
They’d have to introduce an improved version of the gear system, but I guess that’s too much coding for Darkflow. Anything more than zero coding is too much it seems like. Much easier to just tweak the stats, swap weapons between classes, and do absolutely nothing to fix the vehicles power creep.

It’s less than 4 weeks until the next major update, we can wait and see what happened
