Rebalance Ammo Damage: Reflections with Charts

I want to tell you that I feel MKB42H in Stalingrad is way much better than MP43/1, so my conclusion is that 8.8 is actually enough if it has decent accuracy. Espicially in mid range, when I use MP43/1 the bullets go everywhere but in Stalingrad I can kill dozens of enemies. So I think it’s more urgent to buff accuray than buffing damage.

Rof. Rof increases the (visual) recoil.

I guess this is either thanks to the vitality perk (s) or the game, which messes up your shots.

So say Germany that does produce pdw / smg’s does it solely to markets of Israel & US ?
Yeah, no.

Regardless being used in specific role.

Oh well if you put it that way .45 has bigger diameter thus better chance to hit vital organ.

I don’t know what we’re arguing about.
The intermediate cartridge is also large in diameter (7.92) and does tremendous damage compared to any pistol cartridge.
It seems logical to me that a person can survive 1 hit by a .45 ACP or 9mm at point-blank range, but he should not survive one hit by a 7.92x33 (at least he should fall to his knees).
I don’t see a problem with 10.1 or 10.2 damage, the g43 kurz has that now. I don’t remember making a knock with one hit.
Again, only when improved, unimproved ammo is 8.5 damage. This is true when you consider the low rate of fire of the AR relative to the SMG.
What’s wrong with that?

Agree. 8.8 is nowhere near a intermediate cartridge should be. Btw, I datamined and found that 7.62x39 does 8 too.

Hopefully about gamebalance, regardless your IRL references are bit confusing from time to time.

.45 is about 11mm

Well people have survived shots from rifles as well, depends quite alot where you got hit. Assuming this is yet again some sort of IRL reference.

But from gameplay balance perspective.
Mkb42 doesnt have any downsides compared to SA / BA / LMG.
SA / BA both have rather shit ROF so neither one is optimal to cqc.
LMG’s have snail speed moving restrictions & requires bipod if you wish to hit fraction of your shots while fully automatic.

None of the above mentioned downsides applies to Mkb42 so therefor its more than logical to keep it below OHK.

Its gold order weapon so its quite limited.
What comes to IRL it most likely has longer
barrel.

Except making every other weapon in game entirely obsolete, other than that idk what else could be wrong.
